Just added some spilled coal in front of my coal tipple. Really changed how the layout looks.

Thanks, and as far as power, we haven't lost it either. In fact, I saw that a tree got blown down in the middle of the night when I woke up this morning.

As far as the layout and 2020 goes, I haven't worked on the layout yet. I did get the 2020 serviced, and it runs better, but the E-unit still isn't clicking all the time. I may take it to English's in Williamsport to get it looked at in more detail.

I tore down my previous layout in the spring, and worked on the new one all summer. I model BNSF in Southern California from 2011-december of 2012. I visited where i'll be modeling this summer so I have a great idea of what the area is like. My summer goal was to finish my helix, and lay, wire, and paint all of the track on the bottom level. The school year schedule for modeling is a lot different, but I try to find an hour a night to work on it between my two jobs, one being at a model train store. I'm definitely lucky to be one of the few employees there and never come home without something. To tell you the truth, i think i've came home once with all of my check! If any of you haven't seen my YouTube videos, please check them out at http://www.youtube.com/user/schul4.

Well, we should get plenty done will stuck inside by Hurricane Sandy. Well, us in the east anyway. I'm have fun remotoring my Mantua General.

I plan on servicing my newly acquired 2020 Lionel steam turbine (makes awful grinding noise, E-unit doesn't always click) , and doing some more scenery work on my layout. HOWEVER, the conditions created by Sandy may make it difficult to do since I am in an area that faces a huge risk of the power going out.

Is it too late for my 2 cents?Moon

Since my layout is a freelanced logging railroad, I can probably help out a little.

Here's a few pictures of my layout.

Those of you who are home schooled or who are schooled online, I say lucky! I have school from 8:00 to about 2:45, and I'm not home from about 6:40 to about 4:00 (maybe to about 7:00 if I have work).

Here are some photos of my railroad. I finished the highline a few days ago.

As you can tell, it's a work in progress since it's messy.

Since I am home schooled I have plenty of timeto work on my layout, but I do do other things. I am nearly done dismantling my old layout then I can start my new one.

Mind if I pop in? I'm extending my model railroad a little to include a high line through town so I can finally have continuous running.

The timbers beneath the rails are not the only ties that bind on the railroad.

There's always someone around here.

Do you have a theme for your layout? Mining? Passenger? Industrial? Prototype or freelance?

I think it is going to be a freelanced industrial layout.

I guess I will start this and see if anyone is around. I am working at tearing down my old layout. I am planning to build one in my bedroom. I also intend to build a new workbench and convert to DCC.

anyone like other teens? if so I fit that category.
