I hope this counts:

It's an in-progress shot, from before my extended absence.

Show me something you weathered yourself.

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Hmm, I scratchbuilt a gon body for a Centerline Track Cleaning car.  It was a spur of the moment thing & I wish I would have spent more time on it, after painting I liked it & kept it. Then decaled, & accessorized it.

Looks like we are stalled out on a helix, so I will show you a large scratch build project in progress.  (yes, I know I just put it in WPF, but this instead of saying "BUMP")

The building acutallly represents 4-1/2 buildings in front, a  compressed street, and 4 buildings in back against the backdrop. The track will go underneath from Sheepscott, through a scene divider into Greenvale Junction. I have the basic paint done, but need to do detail painting as well as painting the rooms visible through the windows. Then add people and lighting

SHow me something else scratch built

Show me something the gandy dancers should be working on.

cardboard and PVC tubing mockup of a concrete building

Show me something springy.

EDIT- hey, its been all afternoon and most of the evening.  Somebody should be able to come up with some like the seasons of fresh flowers, etc...... OR... interpret springy as something that goes boing, boing, boing.  Or think of some other meaning.

A Southern Rwys RS 3 leading a local freight.

 From Wikipedia:

The ALCO RS-3 is a 1,600 hp (1.2 MW), B-B road switcher railroad locomotive. It was manufactured by American Locomotive Company (ALCO) and Montreal Locomotive Works (MLW) from May 1950 to August 1956, and 1,418 were produced — 1,265 for American railroads, 98 for Canadian railroads, 48 for Brazilian and 7 for Mexican railroads. It has a single, 12 cylinder, model 244 engine.

The gate is open instead of across, but it should be okay. The gondola is passing through the gate into Reggie's Junk Yard.

Please show a freight train in the 1940's or 1950's.

Here's that little station made by Atlas.

Show me some tracks with a gate across them, as you might see going into a mill, junkyard or warehouse.
