BN counts as a hill line since it's a merger of all 4 Hill lines.

Show me an Alco

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

Favorite thing... that's a tough one.  I guess it would be this little consolidation locomotive from Bachmann.

This Roundhouse Old Timer Caboose was modified to resemble a Burlington branch line caboose that lasted well into the diesel era.

Please show your oldest locomotive.

It looks like nothing was happening on anyone's layout on Friday Sad

So here is another 2nd generation diesel. MEC 404 is an Independance Class U-18b named Kenneth Roberts after a Maine author. The model is an Athearn Blue Box modified by Chuck's Chop Shop to the U-18, "baby U-boat" length. I painted & decalled it

SHow me a steam locomotive from the last days of steam - super power steam??

Not sure if a Conrail B23-7 applies as second generation, but I think it's close enough . . .

The blast furnace is grimy and dirty as are the Baldwin switchers and the cars for molten iron and slag.

Please show a model of a first generation diesel.

Lake
George, I like the looks of the tank car and the Country Kitchen scene.Yes

Thanks, the tank car is an Athearn Blue Box model I have had for more than 40 years. the bakery is the Walthers Centennial Mills background kit that I kitbashed; the tanks are a Model Power grain bin kit. Country Kitchen is one of the large commercial bakeries in Maine

BTW, still looking for that steam engine with green....(or maybe something else??)
