Fresh from a through shopping Great Northerns M2 1973 basks in the sun on a nice spring day, a oddity with a 2-6-8-0 wheel arrangment was still quite a handsome locomotive....

Train time at Elfrida:

Show me a flagman at a crossing.

EDIT:  Oops, looks like I was too slow on the draw for the small town.  Oh, well, the loco in my photo was, at the time of its purchase, my most expensive - $100.00 for a used brass loco.

Now, show me a flagman at a crossing.

Show me something Norfolk and Southern.

Well it looks like we have no odd looking locos so here's something that is good looking.

Tony was put in charge of seeing flowering trees planted in front of Miller Milling Co. The men hope they don't have to plant flowers but as long as Tonya is around they won't mind.

This is a great thread.  Thanks to the OP, Sir Madog.

Harry, yes it is a great thread but Jarrell is the original OP.

It was so popular that it is now a monthly thread like WPF is a weekend thread.

In November someone else may be the new OP, but Jarrell is the creator.

Not scale flowers, but trees made from actual Red Sedum flowers.  If you've got them in your yard, it's almost harvest time!

Show me something you built in the 1980's.

Don't have anything pink, but I do have an interior shot!  Also an enginehouse.

Let's see a railroad structure that is NOT an engine house, station, bridge, or signal tower.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

A sort of dark city scene:

Show me concrete ties...although this request may die on the law since it's getting late, especially on the east coast.
