If the bulb is anolog, it will take just one of us. But, if it's DCC with sound we all will need to review the big book first. [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]

Would anyone care to comment on the relative merits of using an evacuated, argon, or krypton filled lamps in the said aplication?

Also, can anyone point me to a source for exaust-tipped carbon filament lamps to use as replacement lamps in my trains?

How did the darkness feel when it couldn't see anything....De-Lighted![:D]

And is this the light at the end of the tunnel, or just the darkness at the beginning.[?]

Shouldn't it be scale and gauge? I think I've read somewhere that there is narrow gauge lightbulbs.

Look, the manufacturer of said lightbulbs / lamps / incandescent illumination devices, has supported the hobby for years and criticism of any kind of them / their product / their pets, WILL NOT be tolerated.

How about this . . .

1 Engineer to man the controls (lightswitch)

1 Breakman to signal any oncoming traffic in the area where the bulb is being changed

1 Fireman to actually change tbe bulb

and 1 Conductor to be sure that all work is done in a safe and efficient manner.

Terry,

I read your story and would love to help you out, but unfortunately I represent the light bulb company. I did notice however that you haven't paid your licensing fee to talk about light bulbs on this forum. You should receive a summons via mail shortly. Well, it may take longer than that as my RPO is in need of new trucks and it's too dark in the house because the illumination devices are burnt out. Oh well. Keep tracking!
