I am totally offended by the non-inclusion of Philips bulbs!! It certainly shows the bias of everyone towards the "big 2"!!! I will never, ever post here again and I will e-mail Bergie to get this thread deleted ASAP!! But right now, I'm going to hold my breathe until everyone agrees with me!![:o)][:D][(-D][(-D][(-D][:P][:)][}:)][:D]

When I wire one light bulb (the correct spelling, BTW) to a switch it works fine. When I wire two light bulbs in parallel to the same switch, neither seems to be as bright as before. Can anyone offer any help?

When I connect a wire from my power pack to one bulb and then run a wire from that bulb to another bulb and then run a wire from the second bulb back to the other terminal on the power pack, everything works ok for awhile but then they will both go out. If I take out both bulbs and check them, I find that one of the bulbs is burned out but the other one is ok. How come they both go out? If I change to DCC, will it help?

Regards,

 John

Well a crocus bulb is a light bulb. A Bearded Iris bulb is a heavy bulb.

I hope this clears up the confusion.

you forgot the 37 people to respond to the lightbulb listing just to tell you how funny it was or what you forgot.

and the 6 people who respond in a some-what off topic way because they read one of many replys and wanted to respond to a certain reply and not the original topic.

It's all fun though... [:)]

Two additional questions

Is the bulb a: Right hand Screw, Left hand Screw or bayonet?

And are the people who are replacing it right or left handed?

yes you would be able to see it, the light from the head light will appear to travel at the speed of light even if your traveling at the speed of light which is impossible in its self anyway as the popular formula E=MC^2 states that if your loco had any mass to start with it would end up with infinite mass as the energy to move it would add to the mass thus more energy is needed ,ad infinitum

(sorry if i got a bit carried away there)

Are you sure ? Maybe a couple of decades of soul-searching is in order ? After all, Stephen Hawking just finished correcting himself for what he feels was his error many years ago...and if he can be wrong...well ?????

You're splitting the current between the two lights, thus halving the wattage available.

...the socket?

And don't forget the 17 people to post questions asking about long-lost Gorre & Daphited light bulbs, or how they were dissappointed to see MDC and Athearn light bulbs be bought out by Horizon light bulbs.

This may be off topic, but is the light bulb in a lamp, a ceiling socket, wall socket, refridgerator, or what? We need more specifics before we can help you with your problem.

Hey Jim (plane_crazy),

That was toooooo funny! But you forgot the conspiracy theorists who think light bulbs don't emit light but rather suck darkness. After all, when you turn one off, darkness is left everywhere.........
