Wow, no one has 3 or more -9's. ACe's, SD70/75's or a few SD45's in a Lash-up?

Well in all fairness, there have been a couple 'Double Posts' that have gone unanswerd, & if it is OK with folks, perhaps we open it up to those who are waiting & made a couple great suggestions?

Could be interesting!

Looking through the tread, these are the ones I saw;

John Whitten:        Rough & Unfinished

Jarrell:                     a Turn Table

Motley:                     a Saw Mill

Just as a teaser (& hopefully a pleaser) I will add one that would Never, ever, Ever be asked;

A cheap dispay case base, a trestle, bridge track, dandelions, a shopping cart, creek, ICE, scratchbuilt cast abutments, rail bolt flange, my Avatar, & cool water distortion view...   Hmmm ......

Doubt that would have been asked,  ...no?      (Sorry for embellishing, I thought the photo was so cool, that I had to post it.)   The Shopping Cart rules!!!!   It is made by 'Gold Medal Models'.

OK if tere is not any negative feedback, we are looking for;

Show Me Something;

10,000 +HP Lashup

Rough & Unfinished

A Turn Table

A Saw Mill

Please be kind, & consider requesting one of the suggestions you did not display.

Well, here's three U36Cs (10,800HP):

Something rough and unfinished:

A turntable:

And a lumber yard (about as close as I can get to a sawmill):

I'd still like to see an interurban. Smile, Wink & Grin

Wayne twice asked for an interurban .

Here are three beautifully restored CA&E cars at the IL Ry Museum. I have seen these cars at the museum. Long, long ago I road on the CA&E a few times while growing up in IL.

I would like to include interurbans on my layout, but that is a long way off if I ever do. There will be streetcars instead in one city eventually.

Back to the game. Is the lift bridge here yet?

From some years ago - not much scenery, and the turntable was still a deck before I converted it to a pit:

If you look really close, you can see Miss August, 1967 above the workbench between the second and third stalls.  Not sure how prototypical she was.

In that vein, show me some "ladies of the evening."

Thank you Michael, I've been temporarily away from the hobby for the past year after some unexpected financial shocks (like my daughter's wedding Surprise).  That layout was torn down in late 2009 and so far I've only got the benchwork up on the new one

I was thinking of this scene on the South Shore Model Railroad Club's layout in Hingham, MA.

My own "red light district" is still in the planning stage.

And now we return to our regularly scheduled challenges - show us your caboose.

Now, back to caboose.

That person can ask to see, for example, a certain color.. or a shape such as something round or square.  They could ask to see something patriotic, or something angry or happy or sad.  They may ask to see something educational or inspiring or scary.  The request should be one word, such as "Show Me Something Humorous"

Participants in the thread should give others a chance to join in.  For instance, let several requests/replies go by before jumping back in after you've participated UNLESS the thread drops off the first or second page and you'd like to bring it back.  In that case it would be fine to answer again.

There may be times when two or more people reply at the same time.  Any reply should be done to the FIRST person.

Well, it's not narrow gauge,but Yuba Pass is a very narrow shelf cut into the side of a pretty sheer cliff (the actual drop to the floor is 6').

Great scene, Tom, and always nice to see a modeller comfortable with and confident enough in his work to run "on the edge". Yes

However, you forgot the request for us to "show" something. Smile, Wink & Grin
