I'm Chuck. I'm a mechanical engineer living in Houston, TX. I was born in Denver, CO and have lived in California, Colorado, Illinois, Scotland, Australia, and Venezuela. I currently work in the oil business. I have had a love of trains my entire life. My dad got me into the hobby at birth. I currently model HO scale and have a 16 x 19 foot double level layout. I have also dabbled in N, S, On30 and G scales. I also have a passion for photography (especially of 1:1 trains) and i love riding trains. My two favorite train trips were Alaska Railroad from Anchorage to Seward and the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver, British Columbia to Jasper, Alberta and back down to Vancouver, via Whistler).

I'm originally from India but have lived in America for the past twenty five years (and Teaneck, NJ for the past fourteen). I work for IBM in research division north of New York City as a research staff member. I have been crazy about trains since I was about two years old. I started my current layout (documented in my blog) in 2007. I really enjoy working on electronics and computers and plan to fully control my layout with my own software. If it works out as I expect, I may get to publish a paper about it at a computer conference later this year.

Hello Ray I am Frank I live in Twinsburg Ohio. I am the shop foreman for a gasket co.
I'm Bob, I was born and raised in The Bronx,NY, married there, moved to Bogota,NJ, retired as a computer tech from Riverdell HS, moved to Lewes,DE in 2003. Wife said "get a hobby". I had HO as a kid, but thought I could get more from N, boy, did I ever! The first layout here was 6 x 8, hung from a lift in the garage, but that wasn't enough, so I built a 17 x 21 room over the master bedroom, and I just finished laying the mainline raodbed this afternoon. Well I was born in Minneapolis and grew up in Richfield, first suburb south of there. I now live in South Washington County and work in St.Paul for the state of Minnesota. I also do music, I have a fuller "bio" on one of my music websites.
I'm from northeast Ohio, now living in southwest Ohio, working as a design/construction project manager for the Air Force. Grew up on a little farm and thinking hard about moving back to one sometime in the next few years, and would be happy to have it be within sight and sound of a railroad. I keep an old farm tractor in the garage just to be ready, and if I had a bigger garage (and a lot bigger budget) I'd be tempted to look for an old F-unit as well... :-)
