Fairly dull day so far. Went down to my parent's place and did some laundry. The Home Health nurse came by and reattached mt wound vacuum and redressed my foot then she changed the dressing on my central line. Antibiotic treatment continues though by mouth at this point. Looks like one or both of the rear brake wheel cylinders on my car are going out. I'm thinking about just having the rear lines blocked off. I've done that on a few other cars and drove them for years that way with no problem. Maybe later today I'll get some of the junk cleared off the layout. Right now I'm just so tired.

Bama:

On the front of hunting, I got squat!  I spooked one on my walk in and didnt' see diddley doo doo the rest of the afternoon.  Oh well, there' still the rest of the month.
...maybe because you have a chap like this as a neighbour? LOL

RobbyP:

We are moving what....Once every week or two?
...I was thinking the frequency was increasing. The Diner XXI lasted 3 weeks, the trail is blocked further back than that using "bread crumb location". Thought about trying to access an archive to check it. But I'd rather be mrr-ing! However, I did also wonder if we would be up to Diner version XLVI by the time Super Bowl XLVI rolls around? It could be a close call......The last two Diners lasted indeed 3 weeks and small change. SBXLVII is what? 54 or so weeks away? So Version XLI by then, at this rate...Hmmm, not so close after all!Sigh

Sawyer: The Youtube vids were helpful, especially in bringing us up-to-date! I see where StarTrek has pervaded this arena too, with the final scrum command by the ref being "Engage!"  Also, the "Touch" Command gives a terrific opportunity for a Vulcan who happens to be playing Prop to administer a deft nerve pinch. Clown

Getting towards Dinner time, a nd Rosie-the-Dog, whose usual water dish is still missing after the storm (although the bird feeder that blew away in the same storm turned up today) is beginning to make noise. Chamber of Commerce tonight, so I may not be back in. TTFN.

A scrum is actually the way the ball is restarted after a stoppage other than a score or the ball going into touch (out of bounds).

Yeah, I know... it just sounds like a humorous euphemism (sp?) for...well..."bits."

"Oooooooooooh, he got clonked in the bits did he?"

I know, I know...I lead a very dull life....

SAWYER: Yeah, getting clonked in the scrums just doesn't sound like much fun. Sounds very British though... "ye, the laddie got hisself clonked in the scrums" (said in a Monty Python style, heavy Cockney accent).

Good afternoon,

Hey BAMA CSX and ULRICH: looks like "great minds think alike." Kudos to ya both, even if the Kalmbach yardmaster did get a bit confused...Smile,Wink, & Grin

Or not...

Having a zero motivation day... waiting for the next "winter weather event" to hit. Snowing already in Cedar Rapids, still have partly cloudy skies 35 miles to the east (Clarence).

Have a good, warm, SAFE rest of the day... Rerun and I will stop back in later for burgers. Looks like a good afternoon for a NAP!

I apologize from the bottom of my heart on this one y'all.  I didn't realize that Ulrich had hooked to the other end of the diner with a switcher too.  Well this page and the next are on me.  Ulrich please sir, have anything you want, I didn't know we were both moving at the same time.

Ohh, I just checked on my SD40-2 here before I get ready to head into w**k and its in Doraville, GA (Atlanta area), so I might get it late this afternoon depending on how long it stays in GA before heading off to me, besides, Doraville is only about 3, 3-1/2 hours away.

Sir Madog

Oops - seems as if the Diner has been moved twice, so let´s lock one of the new locations!

Crandell - can you please lock this one (it came just 6 minutes too late Big Smile)

Evidently not.......  He locked the other one, and the old diner so we can't leave a working trail to this one.......  Guess the move was made with CSX this time....Whistling

Zoe my cup of coffee got spilled all over in the move, so can I get another cup of dark roast in a FGLK mug?  Thanks!

Have to go out and deliver a few posters and check out the local dollar store to see if they have picture frames for certificates to be given out on Saturday at the NMRA Meet.  So I'm gonna take my mug with and get to it!

Well, as the thread that I´d opened just disappeared by pure magic, this seems to be the new location of our Diner - so, again, a big n´ hearty Sign - Welcome

So wait, we have 2 track 23s?

Vincent

Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

All right, we just got cut loose.  I've left a RBF, pie crumb and french fry trail to our last siding here: http://cs.trains.com/trccs/forums/p/165037/1829833.aspx#1829833

Well not much happening in my neck of the woods today, have to be at w**k at 2 this afternoon, expecting delivery of my SD40-2 tomorrow, as of this morning, it was in NC and heading this way.  Looks like I'm going to have to get my parent's to bring all my old MRR stuff from their house that way I can have some track to at least build a loop to run my -2 on.  Just hanging out at the house in-town today as I had to run and errand for the better half and well, there was no point to going back up to my land.

On the front of hunting, I got squat!  I spooked one on my walk in and didnt' see diddley doo doo the rest of the afternoon.  Oh well, there' still the rest of the month.  Well, guess I'm going to be getting the rest of the stuff set-up now that we're moved.

OHHH, and the first round is on me...y'all eat up!!!!!
