Why spend $1000 dollars on the loco I want when I could find anything I want for $100ish and then pay $150 for it to be custom painted, kitbashed and detailed. I just saved myself $750!

My choice would be a GP7 in brass with the latest sound equipment, best DCC money could by, the smoothest running of any loco out there on the market with a paint raod painted in the Bloomer Line road.

Maybe not for one but maybe for a set By set I mean the BN DF40-2 set. Only company
that might produce it would be Overland but they said they cant find enough information on
the prototype to build it.

I'd keep the engine itself simple, but then I'd give it some sort of artifical intelligence, perhaps program in your layout plan and then it could travel around the layout on its own accord, provided there isn't another train heading towards it on the same track.(I'm sure the beta version would provide a couple head on collisons.) It'd be interesting to see a train doing what it "wants",although the route selection would be random.
I can dream,can't I? [:p]

My model locomotive is - HO scale NP Z-6 4-6-6-4.
Unfortunately it has already been made by W&R, the catch is the real cost is $3000. So I would definitely buy it for $1000.
