I know, I know, but that takes the fun out of it....
I'm gonna change it anyway....
Now, you should know, a layout is never done. There's always something to do, something to change, something to fix. The day you can step back and say that you've done as much as you can do, there's nothing more that can be done, is the day that you can no longer move your arms or legs.
Dang Jeff! This close to quitin time and I see that the next round is on you buddy!
Think I'll have to line up a few of dem der barley pops once I get home tonight...
Gut hier guter Herr, hat ein rundes von Bier auf mir. Ù
Enjoy.
Evening all, thought I would stop in for one of those delicious root beer floats since I haven't had one for a while.
Jeff, I would much prefer cable broadband too. I had it before moving out here to the middle of nowhere and loved it. When I moved the only thing available here was dial up. The past several months Embarq (used to be Sprint) has been advertising DSL with some phone extras for $55 a month. And for, I think, and extra $10 per month we can get DISH satillite TV. The longer the cable complany delays the better it looks. I'm a patient man but my patience is starting to fray around the edges. I first contacted the cable company a year and a half ago and was told digital cable and broadband internet would be ready by late summer or fall, LAST YEAR. My tolerance for dial up is fraying too. It took me about ten minutes to get logged in here tonight.
I did create a minor problem for myself on Monday. I was taking the last of the drywall out of the basement along the block foundation. It extended up between the floor joists so I just started at the top with the reciprocating saw to cut down through. Next thing I know I'm standing in a shower of water. The drywall was right next to the copper pipe for my hot water heat. The saw went throught it like a knife through butter. Now I need to get a fitting to solder in there before I have to turn on the furnace. And based on the last day or two, that could be any time now. Supposed to get down into the mid fortys tonight.
Hope everyone on sick call is feeling better.
Guess that's it for now. See you.

Evening all, just a barley pop Cleo, Oh, won't be needing the charge account, got lucky today, PC wasn't to hungry/
Services was ok for Earl, his wife n family are holding up well so far. Plan on checking up on Hazel in a few days, after every body goes home. I hate miltary funerals, they get harder all the time for me. Mother just says, it's just preview of coming attractions for her and the kids.
Grayfox,,,, We're hoping for a warm one too [weather guesser say so], but it seems early to me. Mother said we had the heat on earlier last year, just not ready for it yet.
PC,,, bet you didn't relize, just how much stuff you had, till you started packing, did ya.
PA,, to bad bout the girl freind, but your still a young pup with lots of time. Enjoy it while you can. Are you talking stabbing with a helmet tackle, since all he got was kick off the team.
Attaboy,, I've done stupid stuff like that. I got into the main electric wire one time, blowed the main on the pole, that was a interesting moment and real fun to repair.
I do the same thing with mine, nothin batters. You can broadcast any thing you want bout me n Earl doing [just not to loud], just make sure it's true. We never done any thing bad - bad, just being boys ya might say. But we did pull some fun stuff .
Well got some chores to finish, and Mother has a fair board meeting on the fall Demo Derby this Sat. Best get round, laters all

inch, I've been here 10 years and it looks like 20! And I took it easy on you on purpose!
All, Home owners orientation tomorrow! It's looking a lot like a house! Here's a link (so I don't kill the dial-up guys).

BTW, it looks like we may be without intenet service for a couple of days when we move, so I don't know how much I'll be around then. I know, like I'll have time for that anyways!
Good Evening Coffee Clubbers,
Quiet day today. We did head out to the orange grove this afternoon. The usual maintenance items, plus we planted another 10 trees. Went in the afternoon and it worked out much better than going in the morning. Of course, we were helped by overcast skies and a temperature that probably never got above the high 80's.
I did spend a bit of time screwing around with that tank car kit. Not much progress, but I did resolve a couple of the immediate problems. I keep thinking to myself what a sense of accomplishment I will get [s]if[/s] when I finish it.
Also edited the train photos from the Nfld trip, so maybe in your lifetime you'll get to see them.
And thanks to Jeff & Ryan for the help on revising my profile to make my album show up as a link.
Hasta mañana
Ed

Hi Zoe, Chloe. Hows that coffee today? Just brewed you say? Sign me up!
Well, the big walk-through day has arrived! Was looking through some of the paperwork last night and some of it says that we could be closing several days earlier then planned. That's OK though. We were thinking of doing some painting, so this would give us a chance to do that. Guess we'll find out this morning, huh?
inch53 wrote: PC,,,House looks good and looking forward to your being gone from here a few days, know you are too.
Mike, I thought you liked me? Now you want me gone?
All, There's an awful lot of prayer needed. I've been lifting all of you up. Lisa, how's the therapy going? RT, when you get back in here, we're here for you. Krump, your family has been on my mind and in my prayers. And so many others, I speak your names to the Father every day, several times a day. Please know that my Father hears my words and cares about you.
