I think I,ve got the sky and clouds right on this portion of the backdrop. This picture is 3 pictures photostitched together. Thats why it 's running up hill. Next I'll start the mountains.

My backdrop sucks. If you look closely at the picture I offered in this weeks WPF, you can see the brush strokes of blue and white in the background. Yuk.

Hmmmm... Lets see first class flight to a cornfield in the middle of Iowa to have train backdrop painted by professional. $5,000? No problem

Wonderful weekend here as usual.  You folks are my inspiration.

All I've been doing is installing a torti and cutting and working on the last of the fascia panels.  Here are some quick shots of the new fascia:







This panel has not been cut for the contour of the land yet,  I have just marked it.  This will be a cut on the mainline.  A good way to prevent rolling stock from leaving the miniature world if it derails....



Please pardon the mess, it is under construction..

(Oh, I didn't post a few weeks back so I saved that week for now....... )

Just an idea-maybe it can be that new A/C manufacturing plant on the edge of town that decided to design their building like their product! Not too far out there-there's the Longaberger Basket Co. HQ in Newark Ohio. They built their offices like a giant wicker basket, you can see it from a few miles off. I used to pass it on Route 16 when I went to the national Mopar shows in Newark. Google Longaberger & you'll see what I mean!

Maybe it would create some industry for the layout? Just an idea!

Now there's an idea! I think I can come up with a sign that says 'Colder-n-ell A/C Manufacturing Corporation' to go between the intake and the louvers and maybe an outside elevator shaft going up one side of the front.

 Jeff you and I have the same problem, nasty looking AC unit hanging over our benches! It does make our efforts look, well little bad.  My problem is it hangs over the A line and all most over the B-line. Till I tear down the current bench, I am stuck with it.

 As far as one post per Weekend Photo Fun, post as many as you like! Your base ball field has gave me ideas for my mining company. All so thanks for helping me with the old Blue Box Athearns I have.

 Sorry about the off topic picture folks, but I am still a Mopar person at heart.

It doesn't show your IP to anyone else but you. If you go get on another computer it will show YOU the IP of that computer. Again, it shows your IP to YOU and nobody else.

Neo6874 yes it a Tichy kit my first one still need a boom car for it the paint job is ok it's the only thing I painted that does not have my fingerprint on it.

Don't go and blame me for how your IP or other computer info is used.  Talk to the many folks that make the computer software, web pages, heck even the government for allowing all of our info to be blasted all over the internet.  Besides, if you click on it out of curiosity (like I did), you may learn a thing or two about how our info is exposed all the time.

To say that I'm enjoying the fact that the widget is annoying people is speculative at best.  You don't know me, and I don't recall ever telling you that I'm getting any enjoyment out of what's in my signature.  It's there because I like it, not for any other reason.

What does my signature have?  My name, a quote from the Matrix movie, and the widget.  You must have worked for the CIA as a profiler of some sort in order to gain such profound knowledge of me from just 3 things.

I owned a 1953 Coronet that I bought used; my experience with that car says "never buy a used Dodge". What about a new Dodge? I did that in 1978 with an Aspen. I'll wear out shoe leather before I ever own another Chrysler Motors' product!
