While my mug is on my avatar and you can see me (for better or for worse) in my videos then you know what I look like. Still, here's a recent photo of me and my wife Patty (33 years), taken by my daughter (who is a professional photographer):

Not bad for a couple of 50 somethings ... and for a little fun, here's some video bloopers.

As you can see, the cab of a Maine 2 footer is a bit small for a broth of a lad like myself.

That's Forney 0-4-4 #10 of the WW&F museum in Alna, ME.

Here I am at a defunct Colorado Sugar Mill trying to figure out how to get this 1000 HP Corliss generating steam engine out of the plant and back home to CA.

This is me backing a coal drag out of staging. Not the best one of me but the staging for the 3 divisions isn't too bad

I joined the forum two years ago today; we have already had one "ugly mug" contest in that period of time; I'm not sure whether that prior thread got locked out or just what but it eventually disappeared into the netherworld of page number 99,867. Do we really need another one?

Let's see what everyone else feels, RT.  So far I'd say it looks encouraging for this one to take off for a bit.  I don't see the harm.  The other hasn't seen the light of day for many weeks now, and is lengthy.

Yeah, today's popular recollection of the Sixties would have one believe that everyone had long hair back in '68. Hardly! All my friends looked like Charlie Brown... Smile [:)]

Ok, you asked for it!

Here I am at the beginning of a layout project.

And here I am demonstrating when I will give up model railroading!

Myself, my son, and two complete strangers from a railfan trip last year.  This picture was taken by a coworker, who happened to spot us on board as we were pulling into the Rock Island yard at the end of the trip.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Heres me doing a few weather jobs.  Now this was about a year ago, so the table looks a tornado has gone threw it now.  Paint brushes ever where, and its just a complete mess.  Now it makes me wanna go clean it.

Okay, me.  With one of my train-cats.  Wiley.  Gorgeous cat, but DEFINITELY not the brightest light in the harbor, sometimes.  I've always said this photo is of the two of us watching TRAINS AND LOCOMOTIVES on RFD.  It's a lie.  We were watching a production of the opera "Tosca" on PBS, by golly!   He likes Puccini.  I'm lukewarm about it, prefer Richard Strauss.
