I'll second what Dave said with respect to your background etc.  While's its admirable that you pulled yourself up by your boot straps and have been successful in your endeavors, I'm like your modeling.  IMO, I could care less whether a person is a millionaire or a ditch digger, its their modeling I'm interested in.  Just don't use your lack of finances as an excuse for poor modeling becuase the opposite isn't true either.  You never hear anyone say you should have achieved better results because of all the money you have.  So don't use I have no money as an excuse.  But thats for a different thread.

No No No dave

No race card.  I am different and it is from me coming from the ghetto and that is why I am not accepted.  Where I am from I say things as I see them and as is said on the streets "keep it real"  I am just brutally honest about whatever and I speak my mine which people dont like.  they like a "yes man'  and thats NOT ME sorry.  As kids we used to allways "crack jokes" on each other and did it for years and sometimes still do.  but people here cant take it when i crack a joke.  sorry but I am not going to conform to what peiople want me to.

Al,

I know this thread (or at least these posts) are headed for the mods' trashcan, but...

I don't think your "not fitting in" has anything to do with your background.  Quite the contrary.  I think, just based on the response these guys give to the occasional woman that shows up, that folks here are more than happy to welcome someone with something other than our typical demographic.  In other words, the race card has nothing to do with it.

I think it's just a matter of the games you play.  They don't really bother me any (except when they get personal and threatening), but they bother enough people that it's caused this "persona non grata" status for you.

I'd love to see more of your modeling and your techniques.  Again, modern UP isn't my thing but you pull it off very well.  I think if more folks could see that Al and not the guy taking pot-shots from behind a phony name, you'd fit in just fine.

My two cents.

No denying, I have an attitude sometimes but thats me.  I am just not "Yes man"  I am the one and only A2thamay.  You think I do not love?  Of course i do.  You think I do not care about things and people?  I do!  I am an average dude with an attitude. LOL  Seriosuly though I work hard outside of this.  I own two homes and live in one.  I own three cars and one is my dream car that i wanted for 10 years a 2001 BMW 740iL.  I work my butt off and I rose from the GHETTO.  No BS that is where I was until I was 22years old now 30yo.  I am just different and ON THE TRAIN FORUMS not accpeted for it.  In life people have many respect for me because of where I have risen from.

Al (and others)

To put in a selfish plug, check out the modeler's forum and symposium.  Its a thread that where people post pics and look to receive constructive criticism, not simply people looking pats on the back about how great everything looks.  Check it out.

Its when you made posts about trains in female reproductive organs that people got annoyed...
Probably a good idea to get back on the subject soon...

Dave,

I seen Al's work on his website and elsewhere and its excellent.  I'm all for letting him continue to participate in the forum as long as he adheres to the rules and keeps things in line.  So long as he does that there are many here that could learn a thing or two from his modeling.  I'd like to see th pics of his work.

You know Dave

The fact that I do not "BLEND" into the rest of you guys I am and have not been accepted by many.  I am just me.  I say what is on my mind and what I feel.  I do not lie or blow smoke up people to make them feel good when its not true.  I have different opinions (naturally) than some of you guys but when you are not the "norm" people will and do attack me for it.  I can take criticism and people talking back to me but I see how I get in "trouble" for whatever the situation.  The reason, When there is 8 to 1 well people accept the 8 as the "right"  so when i am the 1 it becomes ok for the other 8 to say whatever they want and not get in trouble for it.  yet I do because as said "I started it"  Which makes no sense because people are responsible for their own actions so if they break the rules they break the rules it doesnt matter who started it.  I am just different and not accepted here for it.  Thats it!  Some people are very cool and have no issues with me and I have no issues with them either.  Its the handful of tight arsses that have the most problems

You know, Al...

You do have a very nice layout and website (I've visited).  I think you could really teach some folks here a thing or two about modeling.

So far you're playing nice...

Aggro, are you a personal friend of K.P.? Never met the guy, but he strikes me as a hot head, so didn't care that he lost (although a longer fight would have been preferable).

Robby, at 28, if you aren't already wiping out everyone (outside the UFC), then it would be tough to attain the level needed to succeed in the UFC, which you already know. Gotta say, I'm impressed with how far this sport has come since the early days. No more being a Master of just one style, unless you want to get your a-kicked. Some *** good fighters at the top, no doubt.

Charlie, I could be wrong, but your code doesn't seem to indicate a particular photo, only what may be your account #.  Also, you must place [/img] at the end of the URL for the server to recognize its end.
