I really like it when you contribute to the forum, just not in this particular way, because I know you can do better, I've seen it.

By the way, Mookie has 5 red stars, and over 2000 posts, and she always has something to say. Check out the Trains Magazine forum.

Alright I'll stop posting here.

BB4005,
For someone who dislikes this so much, you sure do respond to it A LOT. There are hundreds of other topics available for the serious disscusions. So just ignore it and repond to the topics you like. Me and you
have had disscusions on other matters, so we both know we can be serious. I see that in two months, you have posted more than I have in eight months. I'm sure these are not all serious, train related posts. Personally
I think this whole topic is pointless(read some of my earlier post) and has gotten more than a little silly. But I don't think I, or you for that matter, has the right to tell anyone to stop posting here. So just don't read it anymore if it upsets you to do so. And don't take offense to this response, as NONE is intended. Have Fun. Dave

Pete and Dave, that would be fine if somethng was being said, other than counting. In the case of the Would You Believe topic, a fair amount of thought and creativity has gone into creating that monster.

I have never been against the concept of a long topic, but the purpose has run out of this one a long time ago. This has become the "off topic" topic, and started its long downward spiral the instant the first number was included in a post.

Even though I haven't participated, I like the never ending story, and have read it, though not recently, and think its really funny.

This argument isn't about the length of the post, at least not in my opinion, and I stated that back on page 3. As long as there is some intellectual content, I won't complain. I don't think that is really asking too much, is It?

I don't think that I've lost my sense of humor, Tony's joke on 288 was clever, and may have gone over the heads of some, but I got it.

If simply posting a number is supposed to be funny, I'm not laughing. If you like to hear me rant and rave, and you are just trying to provoke me into another long response, the game is over.

This is not a competition, this is supposed to be a discussion.
