Wolfgang, I see you've figured out how to light balance the different parts of a scene under extreme lighting conditions. Great work! Is this the station that spawned the thread on the LC-list about detailing an operators office?

This scene is on my friend Jim Reardon's On3 layout...

Jim is an amazing craftsman. The roundhouse is a quite a piece of work!

Here's another from Jim Reardon's On3 layout...

That trestle is an outstanding piece of craftsmanship.

Charlie, yes, this is my station, it was the Ops-Ind list. Here you see my How To build it. And a few pictures from the operators room are there too. Not the latest.     Smile [:)]

I've made this picture with a program called Combine2M.

Wow Charlie.  Your friend Jim does some incredible work.  I wish there were someone near medina ohio that had such a great layout to inspire me.

I love the one of the road work crew, I accidently dropped a big glob of model glue on my finished styrofoam road and it disolved a hole in my road, so I used my happy boo boo to my advantage, I didn't know what else to do?

I had a little work man on a ladder in the whole, he looked dirty!!!

That was my old layout but I sure miss my hole scene, maybe I'll recreate it on the new layout?

Fantastic work here, and the other pics are super artistic also.

Keep up the great work.

You link to a picture that is bigger ....

 Your link: http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/data/500/thumbs/Whole_Layout_001.jpg

I suspect that the "thumbs" part indicate that this is a small thumbnail picture ...

Testing. Yup - if you use this path instead:

 http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/data/500/Whole_Layout_001.jpg

(ie delete the /thumbs part of the path),then you get a full size picture instead of the thumbnail.

 Smile,
 Stein

Thanks for all the compliments. The photo, untouched, was taken with a Canon dslr camera on my N-C-O Div. outdoor G 1:29 railroad located on the eastslope of the Sierra Nevada at 5,280'. My 2.33 acres are bordered on two sides by Tahoe National Forest giving many open vistas.

Thanks again, Rob
