Does anyone else here like trains? I feel lonely, I think I'm the only one.

Somewhere in the mid to late 80's, Fostex was marketing a line of small powered speakers. Two tag lines cracked me up:
"Fostex speakers are small enough to pick up and throw at someone. For distance, make sure they're unplugged."
And:
"Speaks like a speaker. Amps like an amp. Handles like a burger."

Oh.  Sorry.  Wrong forum.  Pass the chocolate sauce, please.....

Jeez.  This is like sitting on the train to Poughkeepsie and watching PeeWee's Playhouse re-runs....

HAHAHA!

Just to boast here, I finished ALL 7 Harry Potter within 2 weeks.

Train-related: Hogwarts Express.

There!

That's the spirit.

My son and I go to DQ after every railfan trip. They even have a little wooden train in the dining area.

Although I'm married now, there was a time when I had a different take. Now I can't say there were a lot of PR women where I grew up, so I don't guess I can say with certainty. But what I can say is that the woman I was with at that time was the best woman there was.

Just stay on the track you're on and train your attention on the here and now.

Here's a great picture to show what a super model railroader I am:

What do you think?  Should I paint the red wire?  It's a feeder, and they say you should use red wire for one feeder, and black wire for the other.  If I paint it black, will the train still go?

And how about the car?  Are the roofwalks a problem?  My layout is set in either 2015 or 1915?  Can I use this car for both eras?  How long to train cars last?  Do you think I did a good job of weathering it?  All I did was handle it a lot with dirty fingers.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

I figure that it is entirely possible to waste bandwidth without feeding the you know who's. NO I don't mean Voldemort.

Say anything you want, just mention the word train somewhere so that we know that what you are saying is train related. We don't want this post to get derailled. We can't waste bandwidth in a non-productive way if the tread doesn't exist.

Personally, I would rather waste bandwidth with humor rather than anger, but if you want to vent and you aren't mentioning Voldermort, train your words on this post.

Personally, I like Dairy Queen's new sundae in a waffle cone.
