Here is an interesting and unique model:

This is an N scale Alas TOFC car. This is the only piece of STRATTON AND GILLETTE equipment in my collection that I did not paint myself.

This piece of equipment must have been painted by someone I traded decals with back in the 80s or 90s. It came up on eBay, and I bought it. It is interesting to have someone else's version of my railroad in my collection.

Keep it going with TOFC, containers, or loose trailers, please.

The hinged MU recepticle covers on NYC Es and Fs were notorious for not being properly latched and would fly open at speed and stay that way:

 Those number boards do have numbers on them.  should fix that brightness someday.

That bridge in the background is the liftout access.

The headlight is not illuminated in that picture. I put a piece of reflective tape in the headlight housing and shined a flashlight on the front of the locomotive. I was pleased with the effect.
