All the station track has been laid. What's left to do here is the engine service area.

The Breitenbach - Rosenheim Railroad V3
Here's the first track into the engine service facility:
ere we go, the very first video of the Breitenbach to Rosenheim Railroad Version 3! I spent the day installing a temporary DCC bus so I can run a train from Bad Adomeit to the West staging yard and back.
The train is a typical commuter train of the sixties. I hope you'll enjoy watching this!
Thanks, Mike, for posting this video!
It brings back a lot of memories from childhood days, when we lived in Rheydt. My dad took me to the train station on Saturdays, where we could see the DB class 24, equipped with the smaller Witte smoke deflectors, pulling a string of "Umbauwagen" - just like in your video. By 1966, the last one of this nippy little engines was taken out of service and sent to the scrapper. 2 are preserved, but none of them in operating condition.
Happy times!

Interesting video Michael.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Awesome video, always nice to see a train run over new track
Today I have cleared the benchwork where the town of Rosenheim will be built:
I just went and bought the plywood for Rosenheim:
Not much to see yet but it's a beginning:
While I'm working on the Rosenheim station a shipment of signals came in:
After a long day of work most of the Rosenheim station has been laid out:
I've added the wide curve that will run underneath the Rosenheim station:
The world is still flat at the Rosenheim station but at least all the roadbed has been cut out:
The first few risers are in place:
Luckily I didn't forget that staging yard underneath Rosenheim. I hate the location I had to put it, wish I had more space...

Sorry. I had to laugh at this.

I'm glad you think this is funny !
I glued foamboard on top of the plywood in preparation for the staging tracks:
I also installed roadbed and painted it so I can lay track before the Rosenheim station gets installed on top:
I've laid the staging yard track:
Now the mainline underneath Rosenheim has gotten it's track as well:
As always I took pictures with a train:
The first piece of the Rosenheim station is up!
Two shots across the room:
Rosenheim is growing...
It's done! All of the Rosenheim subroadbed is glued in place:
I spent the morning gluing down 142 pieces of roadbed. That completes the first layer. The second layer will take a bit longer because I'll have to laser the parts first.
I have started to add the second layer of roadbed, starting with the ramp:
Next came the left side of the station which meant drilling holes for 12 switch machines as well:
About 3/4 of the Rosenheim station is finished:
I've done it, the Rosenheim station is complete! Tomorrow I will seal and paint the roadbed, then the track laying can begin .
Everything has been sealed and painted:
The paint has dried, I'm again laying track:
The ramp up to Rosenheim is complete:
