I've added the service area, turntable, roundhouse, and other service tracks:

The Breitenbach - Rosenheim Railroad V3
I cut out a big question mark today:
This afternoon I got busy with my saw:
I'm starting to put the station on risers. Nothing is screwed in place yet, I need to fill the two gaps first:
Everything is now screwed and glued:
I made some more progress this afternoon:
Here's the last piece of the Bad Adomeit station. Tomorrow I will start gluing down roadbed.
I've glued down all 130 pieces of the first roadbed layer this morning:
I couldn't resist, I just had to make sure the long express train fits into the station...
Another test, making sure all turnouts fit and that I have enough:
I finished the ramp to the station, adding the second layer of roadbed and painting it all. Now it's ready for track.
What a nice surprise! It's always good when something I ordered a long time ago suddenly shows up in my mailbox. Today there was a nice diesel engine made by BRAWA:
...and three passenger cars made by PIKO:
I started finishing the ramp. It's a pain to get at but I somehow managed to do it:
Bigjim7 Are the German Loco's DC or they come also with decoders
Most of them are DCC, factory equipped, with decoders from ESU, Uhlenbrock or Lenz. It is quite difficult to find a DC only loco these days.
Happy times!

Bigjim7Nice room. Is most of this layout flat. It reminds me of the layouts at Train shows which I like that are flat and long. Are the German Loco's DC or they come also with decoders. Good work.
This layout will have a hilly landscape, no "Rocky Mountains". The layout runs on DCC, no sound.
I made it all the way up the ramp:
The ramp is complete, I've reached the station!
Next I'm adding the second layer of roadbed. This will take some time as every piece has to be laser cut, all the holes for switch machines have to be drilled. I have to work with as much precision as possible because this layer defines where the track will go.
The second layer of roadbed is complete. Now it needs a coat of paint, then I can start laying track.
I painted everything so it can all dry overnight. As far as I know we have no other plans for tomorrow which means I can lay track all day long !
I started laying track at the Bad Adomeit station. Because of all the turnouts it takes a lot of time to get it all wired and laid out halfway straight.
Obviously I couldn't call it a day without first trying out how it would look with a train on the newly laid track:
The first station track has been laid and the express train fits!
I added this short track that will service the freight house:
I also added this track that will be used by commuter trains running back and forth between Bad Adomeit and the Eastern staging yard with a stopover at Rosenheim:
My mailman did it again! A new electric locomotive arrived today:
I added the next station track so the new locomotive has a place to go:
You have a mailman with great taste, very nice
Here comes station track #3:
I've added a few turnouts and a few pieces of track to the East end of the station:
...and obviously it had to be tested with a train:
I've added another station track as well:
