Hello Alan.....I post these signs for all to use....since I am looking for signs for my layout I like to share the signs I find. If you use any of the signs please post some photos for all of us to see! Here is some more .
Many thanks
Can you please help me
Which signs could I use for my New York Central switching layout, I'm not thatb great on the geographical side of the USA !!
Alan,
You could use just about any one of the signs that don't specifically identify a location. The car ads, gasoline billboards and Coke signs would show up anywhere. Tom models the midwest, so he does include a lot of regional stuff in these collections, but there's so much to choose from (100+sets and counting!) you shouldn't have to look far.
What I've done is copied all of these files into a master file in my computer, then I go through using my photo editor tool to cut only the signs I need out, then cluster them into a new sheet.
That makes printing more efficient.

Really nice Pennsylvania Turnpike sign!
Most people don't know the PA Turnpike tunnels followed the route of 50-year abandoned South Pennsylvania roadbed and tunnels for Willliam Vanderbilt (New York Central) as a southern competitor to the Pennsylvania Railroad -- more detailed tunnel history here.
tomkat,
Thanks for the signs. I'll put some of them to use soon and post pictures for you.
Thanks again.
Remember its your railroad
