You don't have one with my favorite Smokey quote:
"Remember, not only can you prevent forest fires, but forest fires can prevent YOU!"

The only thing I don't like about the new Smokey the Bear Commercials is how when Smokey reads the'Riot Act'to a would be arsonist,he sounds very feminine, but at the end,you hear the deep voice of Sam Elliott!!
Yes Indeedy!!I've been looking for an easy choice of billboards and signs for my HO MKT/MP themed layout and most of them'll come in handy!!!
With a few exceptions, most of em'll work quite for Central Texas ca.1959,and the ones that don't I figure they'd look good outside an antique store!!!
I've downloaded a few from the Billboards of the Past Website, but one of the problems is that they come out fullsized!!However,I've found out that Staples'll reduce em'down to HO size for a very small cost and no questions asked!!
FedEx/Kinko's on the other hand won't do it claiming"Copyright Law"!!!
Anyway,keep up the good work!!
While theyr'e at it,get a few movie posters from the 50's downloaded and downsized!!!
I liked the Ritter's Gas Sign that you included in your set.
I remember seeing Ritter's Gas Stations as a kid in South and Central Texas.
However,I can't find too much out about them online.
If anyone has some info about them they'd be willing to share,I'd appreciate it.
Ah Yes,Good Ol'Reddy Kilowatt!!I remember him very well from my childhood!!
Sometime in the 90's,they relaced him with"Zigster"!!!
Dammit,I Liked Reddy Kilowatt!!!
Wow!!I remember the old Frank's Restraunt in Downtown Schulenburg,Texas!!!
The building's still there although the restraunt moved closer to I10 in the 70's!!!
