Great Western Rwy fanI am looking for particular signs of The "Great Western Sugar" company. I am looking for GW billboard signs, Store advertisments, Or any other advertisments for the Great Western Sugar Company. How do You Guy's find these old signs? I have searched but can't find much on the Great Western as far as advertisments. The GW sugar was distributed nationwide.
Thanks again, these are great!

That Cities Service motor oil sign got my attention as I saw an old Cities Service credit card sign in the office of a scrap yard this week.

Come back from time to time as I will ad signs as I find them. Most signs are pre-1970 as that is the era I model, but many of these signs survive in rural & small towns beyound this time frame. Feel free to use these signs on your buildings & layouts. Also can you post some photographs to share so others can see how best to use these signs.
Thanks Tom Kat,
These are great. Do you have any for the old corner grocery stores in the North East like:
Unity Frankford Stores
American Stores
Thanks again!
BRVRR tomkat, Thanks for the signs. I'll put some of them to use soon and post pictures for you. Thanks again.

Really nice Pennsylvania Turnpike sign!
Most people don't know the PA Turnpike tunnels followed the route of 50-year abandoned South Pennsylvania roadbed and tunnels for Willliam Vanderbilt (New York Central) as a southern competitor to the Pennsylvania Railroad -- more detailed tunnel history here.
Conemaugh Road & Traction circa 1956
