Tom,
Thanks--a trifecta in one grouping!
Looking thru some of past postings, the old Butterfinger ads reminded me of an old favorite candy bar that I have not seen in years, Butternut. I believe it was made by the same company who originally made the Zero or Payday bars. Do you think you could find any old ads for the Butternut bar?
Jay
Thanks Tom.
I remember those big Holiday Inn signs from the'60-70's. The cost of the signs were their ultimate undoing. IIRC, the signs cost somewhere in the $30K range (back then dollars). The upkeep was a factor too.
I wonder if one is still in operation somewhere?
garr Have you ran across any images of Holiday Inn signs? Colonial Bread? RC Cola? or Western Auto? Thanks. Jay

I all seriousness, great job tomkat-13. I can not think of another thread that I have seen which reflects as much work as what is shown here.
