I would like to know what a Bachman 2-6-0 looks like.....not having a catalogue would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. If this is a loco...I didnt think you could buy anything this cheap.
In Australia US $100 is worth about $150 but still doesnt buy a lot. Deposit on my starter kit would be my idea of good planning. I am ready to rock n roll....but awaiting catalogue and price list from UK as I may import direct. USA have different voltage so cannot go there. In the meantime I am enjoying the comments of the converted. Regards to all. Kevin.

If I found 100$ on the street I couldn't afford a dinner at a mediocre restaurant...
I could of course get a Pizza?

That's what living in Norway is all about ;)

I would buy 12 yards of Peco Gauge 1 track.

Im not into garden railroading (Currently), but this topic caught my eye!

I would use the $ to purchace wood and used track to create a larger more solid Lionel layout for my grandfather. I got back into the hobby 3 years ago. My grandfather is the one who got me into the hobby in the first place. After reciving a lionel set from my dad for Xmas I visited my grandfather to show it off. He has an basic 4x8 oval in his basement that is ok, but its been the same for the last 20 years. Now that I think about it I think we both worked on it when I was 5. Ive been kinda hinting that I would love to help buildup and upgrade his table, but neither of us has the money. Then again anyone in this hobby know that little by little a small table can grow into a little empire....or even a huge garden!

I would buy some of the new accucraft rolling stock, but $100 is not enough.

That found money would be used for "Good Will", with my wife it would be a sound investment insuring much more return later (railroad stuff too).

We've all dreamed of this, I'm sure. What would you buy?
