I voted for gardening plants as it would go a long way and be a pleasure for all to see to see as they mature and enhance the GR shortline. 8-)

Definitely on a nice meal out! My wife works all day in a full-time job and comes home and never complains about cooking. She supports my hobbie(s), big time, as I do hers.

But really, this is a tough question. A hundred bucks isn't a lot of money (for most of us). If we lost $100 we wouldn't starve or get kicked out of our homes, however, there are certainly needy people that $100 could buy a lot of turkey with fixin's. Yeah, I think I'd donate the money to feed some needy family. Then I'd reach into MY pocket for another $100 and take my wife out to dinner!

Boy, that felt good!

If I were into sparkin, the 2-6-0 Mogul looks right up my alley.

Of course most of you already know that the terms 2-6-0 & Mogul are interchangeble since 2-6-0 is what the term "Mogul" means.

Hey All,
I voted for rolling stock. It would be me last. I try my best to be a blessing first to others. Take the wife and kids out for a treat or bless the kids in the neighborhood with a treat etc. "Give and it shall be given unto you...". Fun to think about. Later eh...Brian.

I voted for buying tools, then I could use them to build or modify much of what I need.

I voted to go to a restaurant. You could buy a nice meal for two with a good bottle of wine in N.S.W. Australia with $100 U.S.!!!! However, in all seriousness, I would have tried to find the owner of the money by first contacting my local police station to enquire if anyone had reported losing a $100 bill. Maybe I'm too honest (or too stupid). There was no box choice to select this action. If there had been, I'm sure many Model Railroader fans would have voted this way.

I would HAVE TO give the "windfall" to my MUCH BETTER HALF........ She has put up with my G.R. spending habits for far too many years........!!!!! When I would have a new item on my workbench that she hadn't seen before, she would ask me, "Where did you get that..?" My standard answer is (and will always be), "I found it in a box, honey......!!!!!" Have I told a "liitle white lie"??.......... NO (it did come in "a box") That answer has satisfied her for all these years.........! Now, I must admit when she wanted a new sewing machine for Christmas last year, I didn't wince when we ended up at the Bernina Store, where the final bill was almost $8000 bucks........!!!!!!!!!! She hasn't said much about my latest ACCUCRAFT LIVE STEAM SHAY since that time.......... she simply loves to watch my "new baby SHAY" haul a few loaded log buggys to the saw mill................
(the above "missive" is just a thought for others to mull over......................)

I would like to know what a Bachman 2-6-0 looks like.....not having a catalogue would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. If this is a loco...I didnt think you could buy anything this cheap.
In Australia US $100 is worth about $150 but still doesnt buy a lot. Deposit on my starter kit would be my idea of good planning. I am ready to rock n roll....but awaiting catalogue and price list from UK as I may import direct. USA have different voltage so cannot go there. In the meantime I am enjoying the comments of the converted. Regards to all. Kevin.
