Spank - good to see your P.D. is keeping tabs on the workin' gals. Perhaps you could place some O-gauge sqeegies to keep them occupied.
Buckeye - I'm a bit concerned over that tankcar not having any hazmat placards on it...

Fife : At least the crew burried it 6 deep from the head end in accordance with FRA rules, if it is haxardous !! He's in big trouble if it's hazardous & no placards !!
Neat video !!
Thanks, John
Great pictures every one. On saturday the 31st of march we went to the hobby shop and bought the polar express starter set. When we paid for it the owner gave us the hot chocolate car. We went back later and bought the elf's hand car. We had a great time with the set after we got home. Have a great Sunday.

I love hearing stories about great service!
The cliffisde, which reminded me of the route we used to take into Pennsylvania when I was a kid, needed a famous Jersey landmark - like Hot Dog Johnnys. Couldn't find a good enough photo of the sign:
Had to make my own, along with a few other throwbacks:
Coming down the home strecth on this bridge. Just have to make a few adjustments and it will be ready for paint and final install.
kpolak Thanks I thought that it was nice of the owner too. My 2 little girls thought that it was great to go and pick out a train that they wanted. I cant wait to start adding to the lay out and building some buildings.
Frank53 Great pictures of your mountain scene, what a great looking bridge. Really nice work. Looks like it took you a lot of thought and time.
Spankybird, Great pictures
Buckeye Riveter, nice video of your train coming out of the tunnel.
brwebster, I dont think the grey drivers look that bad. Great pictures of the gas station.
Nice pictures everyone...and have a great weekend.
Frank53,
Your bridge work is excellent! I'm looking forward to seeing how you complete it, so please keep posting pictures of your progress. What are you going to do under that bridge...river, lake, dry canyon...no end to what's possible...
Here's some fun old shots for the lack of any new shots to post...

Frank....That is a great job on that bridge. And on a curved area of that fabulous Tubular track.

Geat photos everyone.
Thank you for the "under construction" photos Frank53 & Perry. It is always interesting to see layouts in under construction.

Since it so close to Easter, Chief's photos are the scene he is doing of a Polar Bear chasing the Easter Bunny in a snowstorm.
Good pictures everyone, except the Chief where I am also seeing a blank page.
Went to the Large Scale show at York yesterday and took a few pics.
I think Laz's bear may have the Chief up a tree.
And we thought O gauge was expensive, price tag on this Big Boy was $3498.00
Nice looking coaling tower.
Is that the Chief fishing?

This must be NC, the still is cooking.

Was looking closely at the second pic posted by John (jelectric). Nice Big Boy but.....look at that Bad Boy Docksider on the stand behind it! Are my eyes playing tricks or is this one detailed better than the factory version? I think I see a compressor and stand alone sand pipes here.
And that GG1!!!!! I think I need another one of these!
The Chief's post is not blank, you just need a southern filter on your computer to see it. That is one fancy photo you got there Chief!
Y'all did a great job as usual

tmcc man wrote:Bruce, your eyes do not fool you. The docksider, from what I saw, has correct detailing for each rail name, and comes from the factory detailed like that. They are priced at $399 I believe, and come with sound. Of course, since they are G they are big enough to carry very small details. BTW, I think the GG1's cost somewhere around $1,400 with sound. It is pricey indeed.
Colin,
Not long after posting my question it dawned on me....this is G scale, not O! That certainly explains why the detail looks so amazingly realistic. I mistakenly thought I was looking at O gauge stuff that had been super detailed. Although I wouldn't be able to run it I think I could happily part with $1400 to have that GG1 as a static display ( he says as he stares at the big empty wall over his computer monitor ). Looks fantastic! Hope you and John had a good time.
was way down the page. Hotel computer refused to remove the spaces above and below the typing.
