Here is an early Christmas present I got today.....
A friend of the family works for Union Pacific, so she sent me the Hallmark Lionel Veranda Turbine locomotive ornament.... If any of you have never seen these items, they are incredibly detailed.... the trucks move, the wheels move, there are Lionel logos on the bottom like a real Lionel engine would have, and they are made of metal as well, so they are very durable too....
Have a very Merry Christmas filled with as much happiness and joy as you can ever imagine!

Buckeye,

@yallaen, those tracks are not prototyppical, they have only 2 instead of 3..
At my layout the canyon is in the building phase..
First plastering the whole bunch..
Then give it a coating with sand and wall paint mixture for the finish..
And when that has dried..
the result is a complete canyon with a great look.. All I need now are a few weeds and cactus plants to finish the desert..
Merry christmass all!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE !!!
The Baltimore, Ohio and Wabash Railroad has been very busy hauling passengers home for the Holidays.
There has been night and day traffic.
The single line track can hardly handle the traffic.
