To all,

It is a nice layout, no matter who did it. I came in late to this thread, and I enjoyed all the comments. That is part of what I enjoy about this group. Nobody takes anybody too seriously.

Keep on training,

The photos and the layout are terrific. Sounds like Roy treated the Chief to a real good time and acted as a wonderful host.

Dear Chief,
It appears that due to my constant nagging that you finally own a layout of vast proportions. Congratulations on your efforts and first class workmanship! [(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]

Being one that knows when to be humble, I have put in the mail to you four SD 80 NS engines for you to run on your new layout. I know you will like them. Just keep checking your mailbox everyday until they arrive. [(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]

The green bridge supports on the layout legs gave it away as the layout at Lone Star trains.

Why is it being dismantled?

It was the title that got me! Could Chief have actually built this without leaking some information here? So I waited for the download from dialup....a painfully long time considering the state of my computer. This gave me more than ample time to ponder how in the world he could pull this off. After all, the honorable gentleman from the south has a pretty tight schedual fighting water rodents and town councel ( very similar spieces). Heck! The guy's on the road more than a travelling asphalt salesman!
Viewing the pictures made me think...." I've seen this before!". Not this particular layout but another one.... ELLIOT'S LAYOUT PICTURES! I have to admit I was hopeful, thinking at first that Chief had abandoned the Linoleum Lines forever. The lack of NS stuff was one thing but when I failed to spot any CN stuff I was convinced. There's nobody better than Chief for satisfying us guys seeking entertainment on here....and as P.T. said " There's a seeker born every minute". Nice one Chief! Will I ever believe it when you finally are up off the floor though? ;)

P.S. Awesome layout! My Kingdom for a basement!
