Morning all.

Been packing for the move, we close on new house 3 Aug 2021. It has 3 bed 2 baths with an added 2 car carport with storage room ( about 5' x 20' ) attached to that is a single garage with room for a workshop.

Won't actually move until the 18th, pack up is 17th move is 18th. I want to change locks and get cable, gas, & electricity hooked up before we move in.

Otherwise not much else going on here

V8Vega
Something went wrong, it destroyed the truck

I just watched the video.  Yikes!  All of which means:

1) LAPD should return that truck for a refund.  They obviously didn't get their money's worth since it didn't perform as advertised.

2) There was something a hell of a lot more powerful than fireworks mixed in with the pile.

3) Next time take the stuff WAY outside the city limits before you blow it up.  Bomb squad cops in North Jersey used to take confiscated fireworks out to designated disposal ranges in the Hackensack Meadowlands to blow things up. Just sayin', you know.

Mornin' boys and girls. Clearing and a pleasant 70 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. FifeyWifey babysitting over at Nurse Princess's castle. She asked me to do some yard work over there, so I'm waiting for the dampness to burn off before I load up the Durango. I feel like strumming the uke today, too.Paradise

check out R J Gabor Bridges, out of Buffalo, NY. On ebay, they are megab46.

I have 2 of his custom built spans on my layout, and love them. Very reasonbly priced, especially for the craftmanship, and ready for painting or staining. Mine looked so nice, I struggled with covering the natural wood appearance.

TGIF - even though I have to work tomorrow ---- lol

Rain and storms moved through yesterday, lower humidity and lower temps

Drill was another bust - 1 officer showed up and he was unprepared.  Did a Rescue Truck Tour.  So, he "winged" it.

Home by 930 and under the covers.

Tonight, we will be shopping for Sunday's picnic and Jenni's conditioner and shampoo, then discuss the "Guest List".....

Tomorrow, work from 0800 to 4 PM, them run over to see the Trenton Thunder (Minor League) play the Iron Pigs (Phillies AA) with a private BBQ.

Sunday the INFAMOUS Mastriano BBQ and Fireworks extravaganza.

V8, Flint - Yeah I believe there was something "more" in that fireworks batch - lol

Prayers for Chief

Back when I can

Just did a run to ShopRite, they had beef on for $2 a pound.

"Wail!"  Oh, how we miss Shop-Rite!  Crying

We've got Publix, Kroger, Wegmann's, but it's just not the same.

I hear ya, although it's not as good as it used to be.

Lady Firestorm says "Try the Shop-Rite in Rochelle Park!

Every time we're up north we work in a visit, and come away wondering if we did the right thing moving to VA.  Of course we did, but still...

Hey everybody, Lady Firestorm's got a question.  She's putting together a cat-themed gift basket to be raffled at an animal rescue fund-raiser.  The particular contents for the basket are wines and she needs guidance.

The question is, "If you were a cat, what kind of wine would you drink?"

Any ideas?  I've got mine!

Oh Becky, you're so  close!  Lady F left a bottle of something called "Catnip Wine" on the kitchen table yesterday.  The bottle was the size of one you'd get in a four-pack at the supermarket.

Thank God I read the label before I opened the bottle to sample it!  Ick!  Dead

Mornin' boys and girls. Sunny and 72 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Steaks on the grill today, and I believe Ms Kelly wants to check out the fireworks at Deep Creek this evening.

Had a very nice trip on the train yesterday, as it was my first as the conductor (I cleaned up pretty). Weather couldn't have been nicer, and had a lot of nice chats with the ridership.

Careful with those sparklers...

Afternoon. Back in office on PC. No drugs and no extra O2. Doing better. Did the shower and shave and blood ox was 88. Reclined on couch with no supplemental O2. Blood ox was 90. Climbing out of this hole.   Dressed for the first time since hospital. Been wearing slip on gym shorts and tees.

88 and sunny. No rain for a few. Gardens and grass growing.

Back to the den.

Enjoy your day.

Morning all.  Had an uneventful 4th except for the pups fighting for the best spot hiding under me and the bed on Sunday.

Daughter, boyfirend, and grandson moved out on Friday.  The house is way too quiet.  I miss that little guys.  Fortunately they're not too far away.  Still like having him around.

Did some upgrades to some DCS units for a friend over the weekend.  Other than that haven't done much with the trains.  Spent a good amount of time in the pool.

EVeryone stay safe and cool today!

Mornin' boys. Hot (heat index 100) over next couple days. Took advantage of Hot by filling cracks in Fife Drive with liquid driveway filler. Easy to use, but hard to do so neatly.

Youngest Princess has a dental appt, so Daddy-Daughter breakfast afterwards. I'm thinking pancakes.Dinner

Good Morning

My brother and my nephew have left for Texas - my nephew will be going back to Kuwait for work by years end.

Work was slow, but got paid for the regular work day and the holiday - which is cool.....

After work, went to Jenni's on the bike, we took her car and went shopping for food, had dinner late and I was home by midnight after watching "Employee of the Month"...it was eh...

Line/Exec meeting tonight, I'll be running it as the president is out.  He'll do the regular meeting on Thursday as myself and Jenni will be heading to Carlisle.

County Meeting tomorrow - may miss my softball game I have to attend the Trustees meeting prior to the regular 8PM meeting

Fife - my next Daddy-Daughter day is Monday the 26th - I've already been told - lol

Chief - one step at a time -

MartyE - I have no grandchildren however, I do my my daughter and her now fiance - some good times....I see them when they are around - they both work retail.  When Dad died, I moved back with Mom, just to keep an eye on her....

90's today and tomorrow, should cool off for our trip to PA on Thursday and we will MISS this hurricane thing on Friday......
I am SO ready for a few days off.......

85 degrees and sunny. Went to sleep as soon as read emails last night. Slept till 6:30. Slept in the bed the whole night for first time since hospital.

Shoulders hurt right now. Time for some meds. Not on aux. O2 right now. Getting better. Will take portable tank to use in truck but not in restaurant [bb-q and fried chicken] and Tractor Supply [black oil and corn].

Spent and hour and a half at one of our Chevy dealers yesterday.  Looking at new Colorado.  No aux. O2.  Did good.

Hope all have a good one.

HOT is the word!

Well it is going to be mid 90s today so,,, you bet,,, the new AC that is yet not three years old, took a crap last night!!! Angry Called the guy at 10:37PM to leave a message for him to call me and he picked up. He said he will be here at noon?? We will see.

Chief, I am happy with our 2017 Colorado. Seats are not as comfortable as the Silverado but okay.

Turned on the AC in the shed so I have a place to hide that is cool. Smile, Wink & Grin

Mornin' boys. Sunny and 72 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Working on a new project in Fifedom, because Wifey discovered a leaking sink trap under the bar sink. A little plumbing. A little carpentry. Picked up a tray of supertunias while we were at Lowe's as well. Little black bugs are murder outside.

Good to hear the Chief is feeling better.Yes
