Mornin' boys and girls. Sunny and 58 this AM, in the Potomac Highlands. Will clean and mow yard in preparation of Oldest Princess and Curly-Top visit this weekend. I will be on the train all day tomorrow, so my evening will probably be spent with the boy in the train room. Grandma already scooped up all of her nicky-nacks from the main room.
KRM - Wasn't able to view, but I'm sure it was good.
for Chief, and for those unfortunate folks in FL.
fifedog KRM - That is so cool!

BanksHere street takeovers have become popular with kids where a bunch gather at a intersection and they spin donuts with their cars. Very dangerious, your really sort of out of control. A car plowed into a restraunt near me and did a lot of damage. Do kids do this in your area?
I hear them drag racing nearby on many a summer night past the old Chevy plant.
Same me, different spelling!
73 and sunny. Breezy. Just came in from sitting on the porch. Got a little sun time. Not do as good as earlier yesterday. Didn't sleep last night. Sweating and yet chilling.Up the street to a Duke facility for blood draw. Haircut near there. Month past due.Radiation before the Pres arrives in town.Been lying down for first time. Seems OK.Enjoy your day.

My doc keeps telling me - You're too old for this......
I'm still firefighting, playing softball, working on the house and cars......too old?
Too young for a rocking car.....lol
I am the monster in your head...And I thought you'd learn by now, It seems you haven't yet.I am the venom in your skin --- Breaking Benjamin
Rich, perhaps you should pick up Bocce...
Or a nice game of checkers.
Happy Pre Friday -
Great day yesterday after the sun came out - 70s with very low hoomidity -
1 for 3 yesterday - popped a calf muscle after getting out of the batters box. yep I was out for the rest of the game, which we lost 17-24.
Nurse Jenni on the job, on Tylenol and a compression sock and ice. 3 week rehab? We'll see.....
Roy - It's what I look forward to during the Summer, with car shows and cruises
Rest up and don't push it, CHIEF!!!!
Same weather today -
Off to work -
Morning folks!
Summertime - nice and toasty out! Only 164 today!
Dennis - nearly every interection in the Dallas area is tagged with donuts. Idiots - what great adults/contributors to society they will make - right?
Banks - glad the beach trip is going well!
DJ - sorry - hope the 'tude improves soon. Have fun with the 'project'! That should help.
Chief - take it easy - radiation, etc., really takes it out of you. Lung damage from the pnemonia is tough.
Anj - I sure miss the days of summer softball. When I was younger we had a local park where all games were pickup. I was no good but my buddies let me on the field anyway. Beers at the local watering hole afterwards were always good!
Regards, Roy
Mornin' boys. Sunny and 50 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. We Are headed to the local flower mart today, to beef up the planters. Wifey and I went to the county fair (nearby Ft. Ashby), to take in the RODEO. Bulls won...
The big thing here is to get like escalades and other vehicles like that and jack up the front of the car to where it's about 2-3 feet higher than the rear. I understand N.C. has passed a law limiting the hieght difference to 4"

Jumping intersections was a fad here several years ago. Several crashes and a couple of fatalities. Thankfully not any of the innocents.

Morning. 76 and sunny. LOW humidity. Was dragging this AM. Feeling really bad. Dogs begging to go out. Drag my hose to the door and let them out. Sat in the chair on the porch [hose just made it]. Wow, battery recharged. Use to see photos of the TB hospitals in NC. Patients outside in the sun. Sure someone here can tell more about the sun's healing.
Good Morning - Fife - Yup - been there MANY times --- lol - glad you had a nice visit!!
The Gulf side is much nicer than the Ocean side in my opinion.Chief - Continued Prayers for your treatmentsBanks - Enjoy your vacation!!Rained for most of the afternoon and into the early evening - so we got our fill of precipitation for the weekSunny right now - 70s and low humidity for the next 2 days - Friday all the SUMMER weather comes back - I'm good with thatOff to softball this afternoon - I should be there in plenty of time with these new hours. Need to get that stuff together for later, did all my laundry yesterday. The kids have a visitor at the house, so I haven't been up in the train attic - sadly with Carlisle coming up, I may not get up there until after that - I still have to replace Jenni's fuel tank and the upper door hinge pins on her Charger.....so that is on the agenda for this weekend.Off to work - 40 minutes in and I'm lollygagging......lol
Hello there,
quick check in from da beach, the rest of the gang is still sleep'n. Nice day Monday but didn't do much. Recouping from the trip and Airshow. Yesterday was a washout. Did venture to Seaside Hobbies. Bought 2 packs of RR signals as nd signs. I was the only one in the store And had a nice bull session with the owner. Learned he was born in Altoona moving to DE as a kid when his Dad got a job with Dupont After being laid off by the RR.
I hear people stirring. Best see what theday will bring.
Prayers for those in need

Morning gang, 56 and sun on The North Bluff. Will not get above 84 in the next ten days. This cold front came in with a cost. EF3 tornado ripped up some towns in the area closer to where I used to live. A EF0 hit my sisters place and knocked over a dead tree on top of her car and she lost some of the shingles. Sounds like that will get her a new ride and roof.
Sounds like a great trip Fife. I like Florida but not so much in the summer.
I will end with a word of warning, If you have been exposed working in the woods to poison Oak, Ivy or Sumac and don't know it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Don't take a leak in the woods. The results are not fun!!!!!!! Nuf said?
Have a good day!
Mornin' boys. Raining and 64 along the Patterson Creek cut-off. Today will be spent resting after vacation at FifePup's new abode, outside Orlando. Actually, he's closer to the Gulf now. He's a dock master on Kings Bay, and he took me to work to show me around. While we were standing on the pier, a young manatee surfaced right next to us. Pretty cool. After picking me up from Orlando/Sanford, Chris and his fiancé took me to a restaurant called Puddle Jumpers, on Lake Dora. It is a seaplane launch, and it was cool seeing them land and takeoff. Added bonus, Florida Central RR tracks run right beside the shore. Friday, took a ride over to Venice, where we met up with FifeDad, for a long overdue visit. Had dinner at Sharkey's beside the Gulf. For Father's Day, watched the Nascar race, while FifePup fixed us chicken Parma. Good eats. Nice visit to their new home, and will be heading back there in November for the wedding.
Chief - Best of luck with the "zapping".
Smokey - Best of luck with the new digs. Did we call of the carpet job?
KRM - Pretty pooch!
Banks - Have fun in the sun. I didn't get any, thanks to Claudette.
anjdevil - Continued best wishes for the nuptial pathway.
V8VegaWhat's the advantage of larger or longer iphones than the traditional smaller size except for pictures?
It's newer and shinier and you have to be the first one to get one?
86 degrees and guessers say 100 heat index due to humidity. 5.62 inches of rain this month.
Radiation each afternoon this week. Hope to get a portable [one like a big pocketbook you put over shoulder] O2 so I will have more freedom.
Hope all are doing good.
Later.
Hello there. Ray.......glad to hear from you. Come back more often. Chief glad you're back, Prayers continue. SJ........belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I'd wait till 4th of July to gas up the snow blower. Roy......El Camino progress!!!!!! Checking in this morning from Fenwick Island DE. Haven't been talking time to post due to vacation prep. An uneventful trip down Saturday. Hope all had a good Father's Day Spent yesterday afternoon on the OC Md. boardwalk watching the Air Show. Pretty interesting. Saw some of our latest aircraft and a P51 that was polished to look like chrome. Disappointed because the B25 was a no show. Show was capped with a 40 minute performance by the Thunderbirds. Prayers for those in need
Good morning folks!
Missed a few days. Sorta busy. Otherwise just being lazy.
Hope you had a good Father's Day.
Watched a lotta racing over the weekend.
Chief - glad you are back!
Happy late Father's Day gents. Been busy at work and the next 3 years looks like we'll be buried. I guess I shouldn't complain but then again I don't want to live at work either.
Glad Chief is back home!
Not much going on. Yesterday was the first FD without dad. Just wasn't the same. Kids came over for a little bit. Got some pool time and dinner from the girls.
Stay safe everyone.

Happy Fathers day Dads!!
Chief glad your home. Keep up the good work.
No real plans today, they are calling for rain but I have heard that before. Dry as toast here.
Daughter will be coming to pick up Nala later and eat a father's day meal.
So I have just been hanging out with the Lankey legged house guest, Nala. She is getting way better, but still has a lot to learn. She likes riding in the Gator but when she is in there, there is no room for anyone else.
Have a great day!!
Morning all.
Glad chief made it back home, prayers continue for his full recovery.
getting into the packing mode, as I'm moving around the middle of August, As long as V.A. approves the house, the inspection goes well tomorrow, & get final approval of the loan. ( have preapproval). A lot nicer home and not on a busy street. This is a nice home but noise from the street gets unbearable at times. At times it sounds like a drag strip at night.
The new house is 2029sqft. It's about 140 miles north of where we are now.
Hope all have a good day
