sir james I Kev unless you have an insurance problem you need an ER and Xrays. I do hope your feeling better but it doesn't sound like it. Sun and 80s today, no rain for several weeks has turned the grass into straw. Yes we do keep the plants watered. S.J.

KRM fifedog Wow, KRM, that sounds like you done it up good. Hope you start getting relief soon. Yeah Fife I done it up alright. Who said you get wiser as you get older? I thought about getting the JD and pulling it out but it is a 1/2 mile walk down the lane to get the other tractor so I decided to just pick it up and move it. RT Happy Anniverary. I must of missed that. So just been sitting up-right in the chair and getting some stuff for the Flying Yankee set. ( Bet that is Chief's Favorite set. ) I found a nice 617 car with good finish to replace one I have with pealing chrome and ordered a whistle and a set of axles and wheels from The train tender. The set should be an easy #6 when done. As for that 259 I am going to get a 259T for it. So now I guess I am into pre-war trains to.

Nice weather day. Got to practice with both the boys and girls teams tonight. Good day at work. Good walk at noon. Doug M, if you went down I-74 from indy to Cincy, you were within 2 miles of my place. Maybe next time you can stop for a visit. I hope everyone has a good day.
Good Evening from beautiful Southern Ohio
It’s about 70F and the humidity is dropping so it feels really good outside. Going to put some stuff up in the garage loft so the lower temps are a blessing.
My bride phoned from the church camp where the kids are going and she is the camp nurse. She has been busy with the typical cut scrapes, twists and sprains that occur at camp.
Kev - is your back OK? Please have it looked at. Prayers for it to be minor
Good Night and may God bless
Jim
Kevin hope you heard back from the DR. and hopefully your feeling better tonight.
sir james I Kev if your back cracked that loud, you need the ER. Go now man.

Yes SJ, Sent doctor's office an e-mail question to see if I can get in or should go to urgent care. I can move around but wow.
Hi guys,
Over slept till 9:20,
Then wanted to knock out 4 small stumps up by the road where I have been working so I could get in there with the mower and cut the new grass. That went well. Took the mower up and trimmed the lane. When I was cutting the new area I got the mower stuck sideways in the ditch so I shut off the blades grabbed the front of the mower to swing it over so I could get the weight off the deck and get out. When I lifted the front of the mower there was a loud crack,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it was my back,,,,,,,,,,,never heard anything like it in my life. Got the mower out finished the lane and as I was I was getting stiffer and stiffer. Finished trimming the east end put the mower away and got on the JD with the 6' deck and finished. Could barley get done. I AM SO SCREWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the house not going to move if I don't have to for the rest of the day.
If there any plans I don't have them now.
Yeah Doug, Way to close for comfort.
Aloha. Back from two weeks at the shore. Drove down Chicago-Indy-Cincy-Lexington-Knoxville-Columbia-Savannah to avoid Ali's funeral. Drove back through Louisville. Thought of MikeC when seeing the signs for IMS. Was in Columbia around the same time as Fifepup. Had a very nice trip. Went to static rail museum outside Savannah. Thought of RT and the Chief. I'm always surprised at how friendly everyone is and how slooooooow they talk and move. But then again, it's 100 degrees with 100% humidity. Kev, I thought one of those twisters was near you. Everything missed us, fortunately. Back to work. First summer class tonight. Sigh.

Quiet day at work. Hot walk at noon, but appears to be cooling off now. Fixed an old book case tonight. Talked to Lucas as well. I hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning from a roughed up North Bluff.
Had farewell reception for one of our priest after mass today who is being transfered to a new assignment. It was a nice lunch since I skipped breakfast.
This afternoon I joined up with a club called The Society for the Preservation of Dixieland Jazz. It is mostly old farts like me. Heard some good cornet playing and a red hot mama type singer. Sat with one of my Train buddies. It was an enjoyable afternoon. They meet once a month and have a featured band each time. It was a nice respit from what I have been going through lately.

Hot in Indiana. Foyt team messed up badly at Road America today. Did very little today. Should be quiet week at work. I hope everyone has a good day.
Evening all from beautiful warm 90F Southern Ohio,
I just got home from taking the kids and some of their friends to CYSC ( Catholic Youth Summer Camp). They were so excited, they talked all the way, 137 miles. On the way stopped for lunch and while they ate I went out to the van. When I came back into the restaurant and an elderly couple said, “That is quite a bunch of kids you have there, usually that many kids together are loud and rowdy, but they have been very polite and respectful. I told the couple thank you, and they were special. Their behavior made me proud of them.
I’m bactching it this week because my bride is serving as camp nurse at the same camp. Tonight leftover pizza and a Yuengling. I fixed the shop vac blower so I clean the garage by blowing out the sawdust the going to trim a few bushes after it cools off.
Doug - These chicken are meat pen chickens. If the project works out we may get some layers.
Chief - 4-H is great, and what is sometimes not know is it is not just for farm kids. The grandkids have been in 4-H for 4 years now and this is the first animal project. They have taken everything from sewing to cooking to gun safety and fishing. Our daughter who lives in Hollywood with a very successful career has said that 4-H taught her more applicable life skills than what she learned in college.
Later, may God bless
Good Morning All !
Two days at the museum so I was pooped last night, but a good nite'a sleep works wonders. Got my walk-about done and watered the plants now it's time to satrt looking for something for breakfast.
Chief, Everybody wants chickens, in my case do I fix fried or roasted.
Got some things to take care of in the yard but think I'll wait a bit, don't feel quite up to it right now. Plus I've got two days worth of trains in tubs to bring up from the garage and unpack/service before shelving/putting away.
Time to get moving.
Later !
Morning. Slept until 9 AM. Unheard of here. Prescription strength Motrin.
Jim, that is a great project. Glad he is in 4H. Kids seem to not be cool to be in 4H and FFA now days. Will not tell Wifey as she has always wanted chickens. So far, none. I know who will have to take care of them.
Prayers for WV.
Sprayed weeds today. Grandkids were down for a visit as well. Long day. Getting hotter again. Foyt team did not do well in qualifying today. I hope everyone has a good day.
Good evening from hot beautiful Southern Ohio,
No rain today but it did get to 90+. Got quite a bit of grass cut, and started cleaning up the garage getting rid of all the sawdust. I was using my shop vac blower to blow out the sawdust and it flat quit. Later this evening I tore it apart and the was a thermal overload or fuse link that melted. I can’t find the piece but I wonder is I put in an inline fuse link. When I jumper the fuse link she works. I figure a 15a fuse link should do it. I keep you posted on the fix.
Chief - The chicken palace is what we’ve named the chicken coop and run Gabriel and I built for his 4-H chicken project. It turned out neat. Fancier than what Mary expected.
Good night and may God bless
