Started making the halloween layout today. I'm using a layout that I got from thortrains.com as the basis for the finished item. [:o)]

Thanks for sharing. I do a VERY modest (due to lack of space) N layout for Christmas, and your set has a couple of practical innovations.

Thanks again!

The 4-4-0 w/tender and the caboose are in dealers stores now but my order is still being held pending arrival of the spooky sounds boxcar. Those are scheduled for shipment next week, hope they aren't delayed. [:o)]

Great job. I got to see the original casket car at the the chicago auto show recently, if I knew how to post a picture here I would. It's at the volo auto museum in Volo, Illinois. This is a great variation on the same old christmas layout. That starts the old brain perking, Easter train, 4th of July train, Columbus day train etc, etc. John

Hi Laz 57,
I am glad you liked it.

Grad Pa’s casket dragster was made by Johnny Lighting a few years back, in 1/43 scale. They actually made 3 different ones, the gold, red, and purple color. I missed the purple one. The Munster Mobile is also Johnny Lighting, but in 1/87 scale, I couldn’t find one in 1/43 scale, but its for the kids, so close enough.

Spankybird:
Your Halloween Village layout is what this great hobby is all about. Your pictures go to prove that one doesn't need a massive basement full of trains to have fun! Thanks for posting. You gave me some inspiration.

Tom, One of the guys yesterday was running some gondolas with witchs and ghosts riding in them mounted on wire, kinda looked like they were flying over them, but the coolest part was that they were illuminated with little battery powered blacklights that he had gotten at Michaels. They were riding behind the club's camera car so when it went thru the tunnels they really showed up on the TV monitor. [8D]
