Everyone just take it easy. After all....." It ain't over 'till
the Fat Lady sings." And she ain't sung yet. There's
still plenty of litigation ahead before the final report
is made. There's another appeals process that Lionel
can resort to, there's bankruptcy, there's even still an
opportunity for an out-of-court settlement that might
be attractive to both parties.

We just have to be patient, watch, wait and not listen
to all the rumor-mongering.

Well, the fat lady may not have started singing just yet, but she's been doing warm up scales & is getting ready to take the stage.

Just learning about the QSI lawsuit. I wouldn't be too joyous if I were Mike. I have always believed what goes around comes around so perhaps QSI will sink MTH like MTH is probably going to sink Lionel. I just hope Mike doesn't get the Lionel name. I prefer to see it removed from the market. Talk about an increase in train values.

All Lionel all the time.

What makes you think QSI will have better lawyers then what Lionel retained(I only mention this since L fans seem to think the Lawyers M hired were really slick[;)])? Unlike the MTH/Lionel Lawsuit, the lawsuit regarding QSI actually cuts both ways, i.e. QSI has one against MTH and MTH has one against QSI.

Well, I don't know about anyone else here, but this whole thing just infuriates me to no end.[:(!] Seems to me that Mike Wolf is just out to destroy Lionel.[}:)] Well this is one person who will never buy anything produced by MTH. My loyalties are with Lionel. Always have been and always will be.

LOL - If it wasn't for Mike Wolf and MTH, you would still be buying the cheap MPC type of junk and paying through the nose. There's no one in O gauge today that can even come close to Mike and his products. I can't wait until he gets control of Lionel, then it will be MLTH.[(-D]

let's face it. there is no way that this or any other forum can NOT take sides on the issue; Reminds me of a presidential race I know of.

So let's not go overboard when one side feels Wolfe is a god and the others think of him as the devil. He's neither. It is just business.

Repeat after me. It's not personal, it's just business.

Wolfe would be stupid to let a major competitor take an unfair advantage; He owes it to his creditors and actually to us as well.

It is not nice, but it doesn't have to be. . . . again business.

As to the award, MTH is not entitled to both the unjust enrichment of LIONEL and MTH's past lost profits, because that is a double award for essentially the same loss. Hopefully the US Court of Appeals will get that right.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you Alan.

And thank you for your thoughts on the award. I have been wondering how MTH could get both items, the unjust enrichment of Lionel and the lost profits. When I sued a company several years ago, I wanted something similiar, but my attorney said that we could not have our cake and eat it too. I did get a good chunk of cake and it was delicious. [:)]
