Almost forgot the passing of Annettte Funicello, an original Mousecateer, actress and mom. Never any scandal there. She lost her fight with MS. Keep her and her family in your prayers.
JEFFREY.....congrats on the new fridge. At 33 degrees the beer will be safe but you are on the edge with the milk and veggies possibly freezing as the temp cycles up and down. JACK.
IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
jeffrey-wimberlyAs usual lately my father paid for it. I don't know what he's expecting in return
Jeffrey, maybe it's because he loves you. Anyway, glad you got a new fridge. That 33 degrees in the refigerator part sounds a little too cold to me. Maybe you could kick it up a notch or two.
Chief, I looked at your video. Pretty disturbing stuff but should not surprise us. China is our banker and has financed all our wars among other things. All kinds of corportations are in bed with them it seems nowadays. Don't think I will be buying any GM cars anytime soon though.

Jack and Ray: Yeah, the 33 degrees is too cold. I was using it as a starting point. I'm slowly moving the control back a notch at a time, checking the temp every hour or so. I'm trying to get it to about 38 degrees. I figure that should be the best temp. I wanted to start at freezing because you can always thaw frozen food, there's no saving food that wasn't cold enough. You'd figure that in this age where we can invent on Tuesday what was impossible on Monday that somebody could come up with an accurate, marked, affordable thermostat for a refrigerator instead of the old dial that says COLD at one end and COLDEST at the other end like mine does. That's so 1950's! My nieces fridge has a hyper-accurate thermostat that controls the temp to a tenth of a degree but her fridge is stainless steel and cost $4,000 (she got it on sale!) and it makes the most perfect looking ice cubes you've ever seen. It can even mix drinks! Very handy but no way could I ever afford that.

Good afternoon.
NO HOMEWORK! Quizes or tests most of the day today. Slight headache right now, but will get something to eat and drink once I get home.

I think an exact thermometer is ridiculous overkill. I have a refrigerator thermometer, did exactly what Jeffrey did, and that was the end of it. The unit cycles on and off, the temps vary up and down during the cycle, but the desired temp is essentially maintained plus or minus a degree or two. With all of the people in my house going in and out of the refrigerator and freezer all day long, and standing there with the doors open staring forever, I think the only time my unit can reach and maintain the set temp is when everyone is asleep!!!!! JACK.
sir james I Temp is 53 I'm sitting here trying to think of one good reason to eat grits but I can't come up with anything. OK I waited long enough, the screen timed out. S.J.

I've gotten the coupler swap-out done on all six of my FP7. Each one has a Kadee 147 in the pilot and a Kadee 119 on the rear and they're OK by the height gauge. I got my food from my nieces fridge this morning and it's now in mine where it belongs. I've been working on getting the temp set properly and I think I've got it. I'll check it in an hour and see.I think that's about all I'll do for today and just relax the rest of the day.
Hey, boys, quick check in
Seems like the doctors contradict themselves....found nothing yet, but I gotta tell ya, the blonde audiologist was awesome and she made me look into her eyes...OMG!!! I do have SOME restraint....and my primary physician is a cutie as well...So far so good!!

$$$$$$ for York purchases - ummmm, need some work on that!
Storms later tonight now. Cooler temps Wed & Thurs - 30s at night - probably the last time we see that this year!!!!!!

WOW a steamy 80 some odd degrees here today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this weather has brought them out. we are getting our butts kicked at work.....
WRM, why not fly into HIA I know its a crappy airport, but no lines and just as close if not closer to york than BWI?
Back to the Scrapple topic..... a friend of mine gave me 2 loaves of it last fall. I gave one away, and forgot about the other in the truck, so when I found it a few (cold) days later i tossed it in the yard thinking the cats would eat it.
NOPE, they ALL took turns covering it up like it was a giant piece of POOP!!!!
If an animal wont eat something, humans probably shouldnt eat it either,,,,,
Ryan
There was no mention of wind and rain in this mornings weather forecast. Now we have both. Isolated showers with winds of up to 35 mph. Out here by the lake there's a near 40 mph wind out on the lake and the white caps are rolling. Think I'll stay inside.
Jeffrey - some weather coming your way tomorrow.Hope the new fridge is "cool".
Ryan - yes HAI is closer but I can fly direct to BWI and it is only an hour drive. To get to Harrisburg I have to fly through Dulles or Pittsburgh, change flights, it costs a LOT more, and I still have to rent a car (LAZ won't loan me the Bentley).
If you want diversity - it is currently 35 in Amarillo TX and 107 in Laredo TX. They are now saying low 30s tonight and might not break 59 tomorrow. It is 80 right now.
The temp is 46 still no global warming here.
Well we have 70s just to the south of us and it rained all day just north of us. We sit in the damp gloomy middle. Granny did some house cleaning today so I guess she's feeling better and I did a good job of staying out of the way. The Michigan basketball team was welcomed home with bands and praise so all is well here...Banilla and root beer for all tonight..S.J.

Kev, I am sure, all things considered (I dont rebuild motors, nor have i ever re wound one) I would guess thats the going rate.
it seems fair for what i would assume to be involved
i think magnet wire is 25 some thing a pound?
I dont know, i probably wouldnt do it for less.
Went to dentist today. $190 for a small filling. Asked how much for a full upper denture. It was $1300. Somehow that doesn't seem right. Almost cheaper to get a whole set of false teeth. When I was a kid, a filling was $5. If you wanted novacaine which was optional, it was an extra $5. I used to keep the extra 5 and just leave my fingerprints on the dentist chair arms, then spend the money for something that was more fun.
Re York, BWI was better for me too when I used to go because of more flights and times. Flew to Harrisburg once and got some kind of German commuter plane from Chicago to Harrisburg. Did not like the ride on that plane. Too bumpy. I think he got too close to the plane ahead of him and got the jet wash. Haven't been to York now in about 11 years. No orange hall when I last went. Spending all my train money on getting my ACL E6's repaired by MTH but don't expect to hear from them for about another month.
later,
Kev have you tried Olsens, jeff kane, Brausser's ( sp) ect for a repalcement one that they may have in stock that has been tested. also you listed a different number for the armature my book says 600-125 for a 200 seriers armature.
Evening all was a rough day today just dragged the whole day. hope I do better tonight. wife still going bonkers on me about things. Bless her sole shes just shooked up because of this.

Yeah RT I have, and BTW read your book again. After 1957 it became a 1055-118 and that is what the 218 is.
Engineer mouse dead. PUEW Can't find the sucker. Cleaned out his hidy hole he had under a roll of insulation in the corner under layout. Vacuumed it clean. Emptyed vacuum and cleaned filter. Still a smell even though I left the exhaust fan on closest to the smell. Just turned on A/C in there as 86 degrees. Hour later, 77 and smell not so bad.
Off to TV. BTW: TWC still scratching their heads. Sent a crew out this afternoon and test was the same. Moved the Cisco whole house DVR box to bedroom as Wifey does not watch channel 516 [Sportsman Channel]. Put the Samsung box in living room and now I can watch 516 with sound. Just have to go to bedroom to set up recording. 99% already set up so.
Sleep tight.

I don't do dieselly things....
I've got the temp of the new fridge set at 37 degrees. That's close enough. The freezer is -5. Again, that's close enough. They aren't absolutely perfect but as long as they keep my chimichangas, cheese, sandwich meat and fixings and my Cajun sausage fresh and doesn't freeze my insulin (stored in the crisper) that's all I need. The freezer contains more chimichangas and sandwich meat that's all frozen hard as rocks.Got all the couplers on the FP7's changed out and I replaced the front coupler retainer pins with screws. I've had instances where pins have fallen out due to vibration or whatever other reason.Time to call it a night. See y'all tomorrow.
KRM DougM, 77 Degrees here today. looks like it was cold their. The motor DR, Wants $50.00 to rewind my 218 armature. What do you guys think???
That's what he quoted me to replace a commutator as well as rewind a 681 armature several years back. Personally, I'd take that $50 and hunt for a 218 to strip for parts.
Junk? What about GM's tin can go karts aka J Platform? Slow as #$%^ with build quality to match. It's strange that they along with the Delta Platform (Cobalts) were both discontinued because they couldn't meet revised crash test standards.
Or the 3800 V6 that has a rep for consuming Dexcool after the plastic intake plenum distorts during normal duty. Don't get me start on GM electricals.
Jim
Good Evening! School was smooth tonight. Everyone had spring fever. A lot of talk and not much work.
Kev: I think that $50 is reasonable and Jim has a point on picking up a junker. That is up to you. Good luck with it.
Have a Great Evening!
