Forgot to mention, welcome to NCT.  We too had a packed house.  We have a chapel that is for overflow crowds and with that, we were over 2700.  No where near the big churches in Atlanta, and some in Texas, but certainly a number for this area.  Amazing how many folks show up for Easter and Christmas.  It was a great message and a timely one.  One of the nurses that works with us is having family issues.  Myself and another person invited her and her family to church today.  Could not have scripted the message better for her if we had done it ourselves...goes to show who is in control!

Pat, thought about you this weekend.  One case we had was a ranch hand who got kicked by a cow when they were trying to load her through the shuttle gate...broke his femur in several places.  This is a BIG man and his femur was splintered like glass.  Be careful man.

I have been on the computer doing some research for the movie.  Hoping to get some good resources for some equipment that is needed.  I am getting pretty tired and will most likely call it a night in a few minutes.  Kids are on spring break, so I may be the first one down.

God Bless,
Dennis

Well, a day of travels is over.  Now to rest.  Got guys showing up tomorrow to start replacing the windows in this 1940 house with new energy efficient vinyl windows.  Ones now have the cast iron window weights and storm windows on the outside.  21 windows in this old house.

Chat later.

Afternoon All !

Happy Easter to all.

Sign - Welcome NCT !

Things have really been "Rockin' n Rollin' " here this afternoon, the first one had most of our Easter company scurrying for parts of the house that weren't moving one way or another.

Good Friday at the museum was a lot of fun, as usual. Quite a bit of candy, thank you Easter Bunny, was passed out to those in attendance.

Well gotta get back to cleaning up the last of the dinner stuff.

Later all.

Good evening all,

IIABSDISEI with temps in the 70s and the sun is shining in Indiana on Butler University.  NCT, welcome to the 'pot!  We will start you off correctly in the ways of the North vs. the South by noting that the good and noble underdogs (Butler) will be taking on the epitome of the big and favored (Duke) in a clash not of just North and South, but more specifically Indiana (land of the Hoosiers and all that is right in the world) versus North Carolina (well, you can draw your own conclusions).  Go Butler!

After going to a late Mass, we had some of the kids down today along with my dad for lunch.  Ran the Alaska docksider and the Polar Express for the grandkids.  Set up the swings for them to play outside and had an Easter Egg hunt. I had streusel on the dining car for breakfast.  TBIL anytime.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Happy Easter!

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Afternoon all!

Standing room only this morning in church. Had to sit in the balcony but at least we got a seat.

Went to wife's niece's house by the lake for afternoon lunch. Lots of brisket and deviled eggs. Little ones had an easter egg hunt. Was a very pleasent afternoon to sit outside.

Lazy evening here. Weather is cloudy and high 70's.

Hope everyone has a great evening!

Regards, Roy

Good Afternoon and Happy Easter to everyone.  Did not have to return to the hospital last night, but did go after church today to do some rounds.  Everyone from yesterday looks good.  Did end up with a added case for the morning though.

We don't have any family near us and no evening services today, so it looks like time to relax and enjoy the home.  Both kids are still ill, so it is for the best.  Plan to run a few more engines if I don't get called in.

Partly sunny and 60's here today.

Happy Easter everybody.  No family near by, so we are having a quiet Easter.

Brutus - we got some wind in the morning, and about 3/4" of rain on Friday.  Nothing like what blew through the K.C. area, though.

Welcome to the forum NCT.

Another interesting F1 race - Red Bull won 1st & 2nd - three races, three different teams winning.

Bummer about Michigan State.

All for now.

Big important question???????

Have any of you all been invited to take a EASTER cruise in the big Fifedom Yatchet??  Not me.  I feel so left out.  In fact, don't remember seeing any photos of this big Yatchet.

I here tell Fife sanded through the yacht's bottom, lowered it into the water and it sank. It is now an obstacle in the harbor.

 HaPPy Easter!

Going to church at 10 for the 1130...weather looks sunny high in the 80's

Yesterday was overcast in the 80's spent most of the day on the bike.  Did grocery shopping and did pretty good I think with Easter dinner in the mix.

The HD club is having their picnic on 9/11...I had mentioned it to the club prez, so he asked me to do the blessing that day...I'll have to write something good.

I'll be cooking after Church, a nice spiral cut ham dinner with hot yeast rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn.  Got the kids (17 & 31) their Easter baskets before midnight and went to be.  Mrs gets a lilly for Easter.

Picked up my last few items, a 8633 engine, a nice PRR tender, an MTH PRR scale caboose with the antennas and a Rock Island flat with crates from Weaver.  That Weaver stuff is awesome and priced well.  If I get a chance, I'll get them on SPF.

Jack, you're dead on with your observation.

Have a blessed day everyone!
