The perpetrator (do you like that word fife) can take it all and you are out. Not true with a credit card. I have an outdated Northern Tools catalog. They haven't sent me one for a while, probably because I haven't purchased from them in years. I forgot they have 1:50 CAT equipment. Need to request a new catalog. Thanks. Patrick

Patrick sorry I'm covered with my debit cards I can challange any charge I can get it reversed and I'm only responsible for first $50.00 If I lose and they charge before I call.
I was having a problem with a refund on a putor went round and round giving them a chance they kept saying they did refund would redo ect ect I said sorry after 2 weeks I'm going to contack my bank and see what they can do gee it showed up on my acount about 30 minutes later. While I was talking to my bank on the phone she went in one more time be for I hung up and she said it just came thru. as my debit cards have visa logo and visa backs them just like a credit card.

CC is Credit Card. DC is Debit Card. The rest I am not sure of.

I hope you are right. However, I had a recent conversation with the bank and got the opposite impression, the one I stated before.
I do know on a credit card you do not have to go through all that effort on your putor. You simply call the credit card company and dispute the sale. They take it from there.
I will call my bank to morrow about it. Stay tuned.

I feel for him, and am glad it wasn't me. I do believe he is the extreme exception. And I don't think it is because he used First Data. The same thing could have happened with any credit card processor.

Morning all, thought we dodged the rain but it was just late arriving. Had some good showers this morning and wind. I had a rough night with kidney stone working it's way out. Up at 3:00AM with pains. Took pain killer and sat up for about an hour. Drank lots of water. I think it all went through cause pain went away this morning I have had a lot of these over the years but fortunatelly most of them are small enough to pass. Probably been getting too much salt in diet.
Don, TCA Western Division starts a 10:00AM. They are just about wrapping it up by 1:00PM. If you can't get there by Noon, I would'nt waste your time.
Off to church soon. Wife baking cookies for bake sale. House smells good. Watched all the talking head Sunday shows this AM. All say the same thing about bail outs and bonuses but no one knows anything for sure to solve our problems. It will take a lot of time whatever the government does. Just pray they don't make it worse.

As a PQ (Practising Quack), I believe he has been poisoned by grits dust. The cure for grits dust poisoning is head to snow country and roll around in the wet snow until you become delerious. We can declare him cured if he says something similiar to, "There is no place like Ohio, there is no place like Ohio, there is no place like Ohio".
Just last week, as a PQ, I believe that Laz had a severe case of grits dust poisoning. It was either grits dust poisoning or middle school crud enhanced by cheap beer.

Patrick there is no Delicious hot breakfast food called Grits the only thing witht he name of grits is either the grage of sand paper or that stuff we mix up to fix holes in plaster and such. We also use that same stuff unmixed to sprinkle on grass to kill fire ants as they eat it and it swells in them and kills them so I know you wouldn't want to eat anything like that.
Doug ... had severe problems also ... was advised and went to walmart and got a hot steam humidifier ... works great ! I can move it from room to room and run it on low all night and no sinus congestion and headaches anymore . Not only that I mentioned it to my doctor and she said oxygen encapsulated with humidity is easier for the lungs to process .
And on the debit card thing ... if any remember ... months ago some scum bag in Norway stole my debit card number and emptied my bank account . The bank got it all back in 3 days . They notified me the guy was arrested and will be doing big time in a european prison . No deductable of $50.00 to pay either .

They did'nt say if the funds were recovered ... they gave me all my money back with no deductible before he was arrested . Seems he bought some cruise tickets and came in smiling to pick them up ... he got a long vacation ... a cruise in a patty wagon instead . It was an interpol sting with F.B.I assistance . Banks wordwide frown on that and go nutsy jailing them . Like the lady who called said ... he was'nt smiling when he left in cuffs ... LOL .

Good Evening everyone! Had a great day. Started at church...good service and then everyone went out to the sports park for a good 'ol Southern Picnic. Did some fishing with the kids and wife did the sandbox thing with them afterwards. Came home and played Wii for a little while, made home made Pizza and watched "Trains and Locomotives" episode on the 4-4-0- American. Time for bed.
Don, my father had a business dealing with towns on many occasions. Anyway, many of these towns changed to using credit cards for their method of payment. Not sure of the reasoning, but that was how they did it. He didn't like having the expense of the CC company/equipment, etc.
I get off call in the morning. My back hurts, but will wait till after tomorrow's cases to take anything good that will work. Hope everyone has a blessed week.

Patrick, You obviously know a good thing when you see it. Don't know where these fellas got the idea that grits were'nt good to eat. They just need something on them like butter etc. Go great with fried eggs. I suppose these Ohizo and Pennsylvania guys eat something called scrapple. Now there is something that sounds like it might not be too healthy. I'll take the grits, they can have the scrapple.

Well, I'm back...Spent the day doing e-bay/choochoo & Craigs List. Man there is a lot of stuff.
Wish it would all get sold, though. The Acelas didn't even get an offer, man I'm bumed. I thought for sure it'd been gone by now. Had to clean up the room and bring some of the customers stuff home in case they lock the doors Wed.
I'm trying to get that Wanderer running, but it's an MTH so the aggravation factor is a 12 on a 10 scale
OK almost time to hit the hay....I'm taking a time out in front of the telly, then to bed...been a looong day.
