I finished up putting TMCC into the Williams Scale GG1. I put it back on the shelf until I get the 054 curves installed. I have a kit to put into a buddy and one for my PRR Lionel Trainmaster from the early 90s. I also have a Williams CNJ trainmaster that I want to convert when time permits.

If you're a friend of mine, please call me Jim. I've never liked the practice of calling people by their last name without a Mr. or Mrs. or Ms in front of it. I think it sounds cold and unfriendly.

Roy, It is so warm I might need to mow the grass on Saturday after I get back from the beach. I think northern Michigan may have snow.
I just checked this web site and there is no snow on the ground in Northern Michigan. It is very rare not to have snow on the ground at the Soo.

Looks good John, I put the Electric RR kit in the smaller Williams GG1 classic. I mounted the commander boards between the motors, the sound board (horn,bell & compressor) at one end & reused the speaker at the other end.

Lots of rain, finally dry and this evening or now night in Lower Arnold. As I suspected, the new ramp behind my office building will completely block my view of the train yard beyond the Amtrak station. Oh well, before we couldn't see because the Post Office had about 100 old trucks and semi-trailers parked there and now it is a wall of concrete and dirt. There won't be any more homeless guys camping out there, I guess, either. Trainz shipped one of my dumping log cars and Fedex says it will be here tomorrow, which is pretty fast for a fly-by-night outfit! My SIL and BIL work for them - she's a driver and he's now in mgmt. My FIL retired from UPS after Eastern went under (airplane mechanic). There sure are some entertaining discussions amongst the relatives! My other car I just won was mailed a couple days ago - maybe they'll both get here tomorrow!?
John Baker - I just got a bunch of stuff from Gryzboski's in the mail 2 days ago (Lionel Lines Moe and Joe Car, some pins and 2 operating/uncouping tracks) and I've also bought some locomotives and other stuff from them online. I've never called, but I guess you had better do it on the phone if you need to make sure they ship using a certain carrier (USPS). Saw that London had Freezing Fog and airplanes grounded - hope you are all fine!
Laz - how do you guys work around all that dust in the shop - do you have cyclone collectors or what?

Pennvalley, thanks for stopping by and posting your info. Will look into the ElectricRR ones myself. Got some small units I need to convert. Will Electric RR ones work with AC motors? The DD ones will with a resister added [they send]. Sounds like some good offers from Electric RR. Keep visitng us on the "Pot".

Morning all, 0830GMT and I am on Holiday till Christmas Freezing Fog again here today(we are about 85 miles north of London). This time last year we would have been in all the chaos at the airport as we spent last Xmas in Florida.
Saw some footage of Denver airport on Fox news last night, (the wonders of Sky TV) glad I am not there.
Lots of little jobs to do today by order of the "management".

A very late morning here in a cloudy cold Stockport. I am 5 miles from Manchester airport directly under the flight path, no fog here but there is a lack of traffic from elsewhere. Slept in didn't arise 'till 0815, going out for lunch with my dear lady. They don't know what real fog is today, I remember the pea-soupers of the 50's. I once ran into the back of a car and wrecked my pushbike. The driver had come to a junction and couldn't see the other side of a 20ft carriageway. the buses were guided by the conductor walking in front holding a flashlight (in the middle of the day!) and the railways used detonators on the track as the signals could not be seen.

Tried Sky some years ago, What a rip-off! their prices doubled in less than 3 yrs and the ads. seemed to go on for ever 20mins in 60, too much.

I work with a guy who's last name is Szczepanski! How do you pronounce that?!!! I've bought from Grzysboskys and would recommend them.
My Feb. CTT came yesterday! I can see why the last issue never showed up. The mailing label on this issue was stuck on in such a way as to be more off the front cover than on. The bottom +3/4 of the label was hanging below the bottom edge of the magazine!
Looks like a nice warm, sunny day today, but heavy rain tomorrow for my birthday. Then clear and warm for Christmas Eve and Christmas.
All my shopping is done and I can't wait to give everyone their presents. That's the best part of Christmas for me.
This Christmas will mark my 2nd anniversary as an O gauge hobbyist.
Wifey told me the carpet layout has to come down tonight. She doesn't want guests tripping over it tomorrow. Before I take it down, We'll run the Holiday Train one last time before sending it down to the table layout.

Today, we have company coming later. Niece and her son. He is 4 years old. He likes to watch trains run. We'll have fun.

It is still rainy and mild in SE Indiana with temps in the 50s today. I did get my CTT yesterday, but I fell asleep reading it and went to bed about 8:30 last night. I must have been really tired. I am doing better today. I am off work all next week, and I am looking forward to it. I hope everyone who still has Christmas shopping to do has good luck with it. I wish we had the stars that we had for the old forum. Does anyone remember if 500 posts had any meaning? I never thought I would get that many. I want to thank you all again for all the support you have given me and my family this year. I do not believe I could have made it without your help. I hope everyone has a good day, and I will try to post thru the holidays as well.

Good Morning All..
Spent yesterday on Jury Duty, all day in the fish bowl, no panels called. I had taken an old issue of OGR and CTT mags, read them cover to cover. The current issues are strategically placed around the house with post it notes on them, hoping Mrs Clause may notice them. Got a lot of good information from the reading!
The weather here is cold got up to 56 yesterday! That's terrible. As this weather heads for the east the cold is coming.
Got most of the gremlins resolved, still a couple lingering around. We have 2 beeps, which I had upgraded with TMCC and sound. Now all of a sudden neither one have any sound. Suspcious...

The pig train is special because I out bid some guy from N.C. for it at Choo-Choo auctions.
You are right, I have my mind on other things rather that the expansion of the layout.
Also, those Amtrak cars in the foreground were reconditioned and are now following my Williams Genesis, upgraded with TMCC and Railsounds around the layout. I also upgraded the electrical system with the new TPC 300 and another 180 w Brick. My Mikado also had to have major repairs and the smoke unit was completely replaced and wow! does it smoke.
Remember, in the summer we use the Garden RR. Do you have your track around the pond started?

Besides this list, my LGB C&S Steam Engine is in the shop for a new motor. As far as Davis Trains and I can tell, it is dead. Pulling that big circus train put some wear on it.
As you can see, running the Baltimore, Ohio and Wabash Railroad is almost a full time job.
