I love the Southern Pacific. There is something about L-windows and lots of lights that I really admire.

All of the ones that I grew up with: CNJ, Reading, Lehjigh Valley, B&O and the Pennsy. I model the firsdt three in HO.

As you can probably see from my screen name I'm a big fan of the West Point Route (Atlanta & West Point/Western Ry. of Alabama)...it's a toss-up between the Georgia Railroad Group (Georgia RR/ Atl. and West Pt./W of A), the Central of Georgia, and Seaboard Air Line...I also miss pre-Conrail NS.

5yrman The New York Central was definitely a good railroad and has a great history. It too is one of my favorites. It certainly didn't deserve the fate it suffered.
