I voted for the NYC, but it would be a toss-up between the Central and the Pennsy for me.

I voted for B&O as it was and is the nearest to where I live and I remember it well from the early 50's on, however, I also grew up near the Pennsy and would have voted for it if it were on the list provided. A number of great and interesting fallen flags RRs missing from the list: NYNH&H, ACL, SAL., L&N, IC, N&W, DLW, Erie, NKP, Frisco, T&P, B&M, in additon to those Mr Sanchez offered.

I voted for NYC, but the town I grew up in had PRR, Reading, EL, and D&H.
I miss them all.

I grew up living near GTW and WAB. I wish GTW could have kept MILW. Now I live near L&N. Miss them all. At least all these roads can live again on the tracks of my layout. Have fun model railroading!

I voted for C&O even though the lines I loved were ex Pere Marquette. I spent many hours with the local signal maintainer in the depot in Mt. Morris , MI where I grew up. He was very kind to me and never seemed to tire of my endless questions. The car ferry operations in Ludington, MI were such an interesting part of Michigam History.

I really miss the Santa Fe. It has always been my favorite. I think the red and silver
warbonnet paint scheme is a classic. Somehow seeing a warbonnet with BSNF on it seems like sacriledge.
