Ahoy Cap'n Tom!
Is that Ron I see who came by?? Looks like he thought this was the bar. Anyway, every little bit helps on this lonely thread, huh
Back to the book covers!
Until the next time!
Lars
For Lars; Those photos of the NZ locos were great. If you saw them quickly, you might think they were Pennsy engines, especially the attempt of streamlining.
For Eric; I hope in the photo of "the man at work keeping the trains running", he saw the train bearing down on him.
See you when the bar opens. Ron
I KNOW where those depots are located - saw 'em at the bar! WondAH if anyone else knows???
Another from down under . . .

Here's my daily . . .
Good afternoon Tom and all present. Drinks are on me. I'll have the usual. I just received some links from Chile. It is quiet long, but I know you will enjoy it. Chileans seem to be as passionate about trains as we are. The link is of the Pablo Neuruda railroad museum in Temuco, Chile. Most of it is in Spanish, but the pictures are well worth it. Crank up the sound. P.S. How do I post pictures in these messages?

The "John Molson" is an operating-replica of a late 1840's locomotive. The original was built in 1849 by Kinmonds, Hutton, and Steel of Dundee, Scotland, and ran on the Champlain and St Lawrence Railroad.
