Good Morning - That ain't no CC&O engine on the magazine cover (lol), but I'd like to read what they had to say bout the road back then. Fascinating operation in some very rugged country. BTW, the railroad is a vital part of CSX coal service today.
work safe
Thanx, Lars!

For CM3: As close as I've gotten to riding the WM was a few years ago . . . experienced the dinner train from Cumberland, Maryland for an evening run to a local winery. Was great fun - but yeah, not the real thing.
Thanx, Lars, for the continuing support!
My offering for the day . . .
Good Morning - Nice cover. A WM passenger train is a rarity. Also, not a circus color unit in sight.

Hello,
This is a rarity for me as I do not generally engage in dialogue on these forums. I really don't enjoy doing it. But I do enjoy looking in and your site is a very interesting one. I have browsed through it many, many times.
Too bad the original intent didn't catch on (page one) HOWEVER what you are doing with the photograph posts is very entertaining.
Nicely done to the man called siberianmo and his friends from the bar called Our Place.

Hi TOM
I though I would pop over from the bar and add a couple of pics to the great ones already here.
A dome on a dome car.
UP diesel in Mo-Pac heritage colours.
