Part of the ongoing supervision of T&E personnel should include yearly medical and mental fitness exams, starting at age 65 or even earlier. If it is not mandatory, it should be. Only Amtrak requires annual medical examinations (as of 2014, at least), but I believe this is insufficient. Reaction times and judgment should be empirically evaluated rofessionally.

So Charlie are you going to address the fact that you lied? Or do you opt to carry on nonplussed as Trump does?

Joe, every time I open this site there is a popup for a position--FRA-Director, Office of Safety Analysis.  Maybe you should apply so your voice will really be heard.  You don't want to be one of those lockerroom lawyers you've mentioned in the past.

Just like you avoid answering questions that you don't want to answer.  There's nothing forcing anyone here to answer anything.

And nothing in the forum rules about documentation of anything.  This is an informal place to share ideas,  thoughts,  recollections, opinions,  etc. It's not for demanding other members do what you want.  If you don't like that,  try another forum or blog.

I was forced to retire.

Most people here do not even know who the heck you are.   Why would you even care about your work history here?   Nobody here is going to interview you in the future for a job.

You stated that I was forced to retire. I asked you to present proof of that statement/allegation and you refuse ergo you are a liar.

When someone (you) slanders, lies and makes false allegations, yes I will be demanding. I demand proof.

So you condone slander, lies and false allegations? How would you react if they were leveled at you? Do you like people telling lies about you?

charlie hebdo is a liar, and that fact is evident in his refusal to provide proof of his allegation about me being forced to retire.

Last I looked even though mandatory retirement at 65 is long gone,  most people are forced to retire from their careers,  one way or another. It does not mean they are terminated,  just reach a point of ending. Retirement is not the same as termination.

Watch the name calling,  pal.  It is in clear violation of forum rules, as well as common decency  and courtesy . But then,  hurling insults and calling people names is what you do.  Chalk it up to your NH and PC experience.

Feeble try at damage control. It does not alter the fact that you are a liar.

I am NOT your "pal". Telling lies and slander are "clear violation of forum rules, as well as common decency and courtesy"

FYI. At 70 (on the NY NH & H) you were no longer allowed to operate passenger or through freight but you could stay to any age in yard service. 65 was the earliest you could retire. In later years you could remain on the main line at any age or you could retire at 60

I suggest you get a thorough examination.  I'm not the only one who notices your argumentiveness and rudeness.  You argue with almost everyone who comments on shared threads and engage in name calling.
