Good evening all,

Spent four hours cleaning gutters and mulching leaves.  Only 2 trees left with leaves.  May or may not get to run mower again. I hope everyone has a good day.

Buckeye....glad to hear things went well.

Roy....hope the Mrs is feeling better

Don...... you should submit your wire management device to CTT.

cleaning, sortn and chuckn interupted today for a trip to a train show in Kittanning Pa. Nothing I needed or wanted, only spent $4.00 for admission. Dined at a chineese buffet and visited a Christmas train display at the Indiana Pa mall on the way home. A show in Johnstown next Sunday. Capped the day with homemade Pitza and watching the Kilchers on Alaska the last frontier.

Tomorrow is a day of Doc appointments. Endo doc (gonna catch he!!) and roto rooter follow up. (hoping lifting restrictions go away)

Best move on.

Prayers for those in need

Mornin' boys.  Cloudy & 40's along the Patterson Creek cut-off.  Spent last 2 nights providing security for actor (and Cumberland native) Eddie Deezen (Polar Express. Grease, Dexter's Lab, etc.).  A nice, humble, generous person as you will ever meet.  Then I gave the bum's-rush to some intoxicated vagrants at the station, and protected the RR crossing as the trains departed.

Sun and 30, a high today of 40. I also got the latest CTT. A nice article on the Redford Theatre is featured. It has a long local history with it's pipe organ from the silent movie days.

50 degrees, breezy and temps falling.  Rain on the way.

Buckeye had surgery.  Staying in hospital for a day.  Was a cluster of stones stuck together.  He is fine as he is Buckeye.

Have a good one.

Aloha all. Happy Friday! It's still too cold for Nov. to me.

I heard from Buckeye - he is out of surgery and it was not fun. The big news is the super-large kidney stone was not one big one but a lot of small ones all together. He'll be spending tonight in hospital and maybe two nights.

Good morning, 35 with sun and clouds on the North Bluff.

Today is the first day of shotgun deer season here and it sounded like a war zone at daybreak.

This one is for Da Chief,

Cloudy and 33. 40 for the day. A busy couple of weeks with doctor and test appointments for my wife. My only train news is the new Legacy Hudson, I don't have one but sure wish I did.

Good Evening,

Buckeye
,  Sure hope everything goes well for you tomorrow!  Will give you a chance to get back on your feet a little then give you a call.  Take care buddy, be thinking about you!
BTW, regarding your request for information on a "Bridle" for holding your wires, I found an alternative a few years ago and it worked really well!!  Made my own.......

I used PVC, took a section of Schedule 40, 1 1/2", and cut a "slit" down the length of the pipe about an 1/8" wide.  Then cut the PVC in 1.5 - 2.0" long sections.  Then drilled two holes at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock relative to the slit.  First hole is large enough for a screwdriver shank, and the second hole large enough for a #6 or #8 screw.  (I used 1" decking screws).  Then where ever I wanted to secure the wires I mounted it to the bottom of the layout.  It has been great, obviously you can route the wires through the pipe, OR through the slit.  It is extremely easy to remove the wire if necessary due to the slit.  Works great for making 90 deg corners as well.  I will post a picture of one tomorrow.

Rich, Congrats on the promotion!!  Best wished for your Dad!

As a result of recommendations, went to the theatre and saw "Ford vs Ferrari", that WAS a really good movie!  One of the guys I went to school with designed the Shelby Cobra insignia, the insignias were made right here.

The weather has been dramatic here, from 92 on our patio on Tuesday, to 56 yesterday!  The BIG rain we were supposed to get didn't even measure in our rain gauge.  But the mountains have snow, so all is good.

Finally, finished the bedroom was re-doing, glad it is over, does look good though.  Next project is re-doing our outside Christmas decorations so they will be ready to go up on Thanksgiving Weekend.

About all I have here, take care!

Don

Good evening all,

Good day at work.  Went to see Ford vs Ferrari.  Good movie.  Guy who plays Henry II is really good.  Was hoping for a shot of the Chapparal but there were a lot of other cars as well.   Days like that with unlimited budgets will never be seen again.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Hi guys, another day of doctors and a class for wife's up-coming surgery. Also a trip to Krogers so I can at least eat. Laugh

Not a lot else. It did get to 50 today but rain is on the way and a cold front. Never got a chance to enjoy the outdoors. Sad

Yesterday I installed a fixture above the mechanical corner of the basement so I can see for once what the He!! I am doing there. I should of done that 13 years ago. Also installed new wipers on the Rusty Ranger and picked up some oil filters for the Gators and the mower.

Best get!

Good dental check up Monday.  Also received the 3 Lionel Classic passenger cars I won on eBay.   Appear to have never run ( that will soon change ), and maybe box opened once.   Absolutely nice!  Planning to see Ford vs Ferrari Wednesday night.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Buckeye Riveter

fife...Pacemaker seems to be working perfectly.

Tonite they do a remote test of my ICD(pacemaker w/an attitude). During the last survey at the clinic it registered a couple of Afib events. I hadn't even noticed them.

Trying to get some things squared away for the Christmas on the Prado program on Friday nite, 12/6. Last year they closed the rear parking lot to museum volunteers so they had to park in left overshoe Montana. If they pull the same crap this year the other operator and I will be dropping out. With all the stuff that we will have to take down there and bring back home afterwards is unacceptable. Traffic getting in and back out will be insane, the park will be an absolute zoo of people.

Finished ranting !

Good luck Buckeye with the proccedure. It was bad enuff going thru the cathiter nightmare and followed up by a camera being inserted to examine the bladder.

Prayers to all of those in need.

Hope Buckeye is mending nicely.

fife...Pacemaker seems to be working perfectly. They changed my blood presure medicine. No problem there either. This Friday is my percutaneous nephrolithotomy. I will be in the hospital two nights. I will need to take it easy the following week. Hopefully everything works according to the Drs. plans. Thanks for asking.

Mike C......If you don't go to see Ford vs Ferrari, never mention anything about racing again. Smile, Wink & Grin Some people are going to get awards. Henry Ford II is portrayed just as I always imagined after reading Iocca's book years ago
