Hello There,

Happy Mothers Day. (Hope no one forgot. Might be in deep do do)

Think I missed a birthday or two. Belated Birthday Wishes to those I missed.

Finally put away my treasures from York. Some HO buildings, a Lionel rocket launch car and enough farm animals for a Ranch. A prewar boxcar and #91 overload. All for less than  $50.

Stuff p

It's been a really wet spring here. Son has been giving the Oliver a workout with the new (to him) rollover plow. It allows you to plow the soil the same direction without running back doing nothing.

Tractor

Best move on.

Prayers for those in need.

Morning guys,

Just Grand-son Jordan and me here. Cat was out all night but came in this morning to eat then leave again.

We just got out of bed. We were watching TV in bed, Jordan liked that.

We are having some cereal and all is well. He slept all night with no problem.

Yesterday he got a lesson on speed on two wheels, gravitational pull and gravel. Also Road-rash.  Surprise Laugh

Happy Birthday Doug! Happy B-Day

And happy Mothers day to all you Mothers out there. Wink

Good evening all,

Been a good three days.  Thursday was quiet at work.  Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 that night.  Good flick.  Worthy sequel.  Did not screw it up.  Spent a wonderful Friday at the track.  Saw the AJ Foyt exhibit at the museum and other display items.  Well worth the visit for that alone.   Watched several support races and met the lady racer from Norway.  Came home and mowed the yard in an hour!  New track record!   Went to the Indy GP Saturday with wife.  Saw a great Indy Lights race.  Foyt team did the usual dismal performance in main event.   Still the weather was perfect and the wife enjoyed the day as well.   I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

SP....I throughly understand about walking around with a time bomb.  In 2015, I was standing on a bridge under construction over the Ohio river and BOOM!

Buckeye, I Narrowly missed getting a kidney stint myself on my last procedure.  They found one more stone that is too large to pass so I will have to go back in the hospital in about three weeks and hopefully get it broken up like they did on the last one.  Meantime, I am completely pain free at the moment but I feel like I'm walking around with a time bomb inside.  Hope you get well soon.

Mornin' boys.  Damp and 48 along the Patterson Creek Cut-off.  Back to the garage painting today.  Phish, do yourself a favor and become a Sherwin-Williams rewards member.  Lots of 30-40% discounts, and it really is far superior paint to the big home improvement chains.

Evening all,

Dennis - that is some experience you had. Glad they have a handle on it for you. Prayers for your quick recovery Angel.

Hope Ray is doing ok?

Kev - I get to apply for Medicare July 1. What a nightmare. So complicated. Should not be that way...a buddy of mine made an error when he signed up last fall ... Now in Medicare administrative "hail".

Buckeye on lockdown. Something to do with da Chief?.....

Buckeye Riveter

Good morning,

Counting the days until I am not confined to the house.  A kidney stent is about the same thing as an ankle bracelet.

They finally caught you.  Whistling  Get well.

Cloudy and chilly 54 degrees.  Had T'storms last night.  We were spared the bad stuff.  Just got big rain.

Getting rid of the Samsung phone today.  Their latest upgrade was horrible.  Not user friendly.  Folks complaining.  Samsung says not reversable.  Lost one customer to LG.

Banks, not good.  Frankie had his done.  Sorry.  Painful.  Friend Fred is now recovering from his.  Long road.  Good luck.

Haven't heard from Pat in a while.  Use to get an occasional email from him.  Will reach out.

Off to Dr.  Another tick bite "gone south".

Hope all have a great weekend.

Sadly an erea is coming to an end.  This photo was taken in Berea, Ohio in 2003 as we constructed the new underpass on Bagley Road.

Hello there,

TGIF!!!!!

Test &Tune at the Drags that was rained out last month is rescheduled for tomorrow. If the guessers are right it'll be rained out again. At least both machines are ready but he's got very little seat time on the bike .

Yard work is piling up but looking like it's going to have to wait another week.

Best get the day started.

Good afternoon,

Supposed to get hot down here the next 2 days, around 90. May rain this weekend and slightly cool things off.

Went to get some x-rays this morning, hopefully nothing serious. Doctor wants to get information about me because there are no current x-rays on file.

Hopefully I may run some trains this afternoon or work on the wiring for my layout. Have all the track installed but don't have all the transformers hooked yet, also need to wire about 3 switches.

Trying to stay cool down here in southeast Florida.

Early yet so nothing to report.

Banks - thanks for the warning. I'm gonna avoid Arthur so I do not get a torn rotator cuff!  Laugh

Hello there, where is everyone this AM?

I'm wandering a Wally World waiting on the electrical inspector for the remodel here we just completed.

Trip to ortho doc confirmed my suspicion. Torn rotator cuff. Not bad, but enough that chances of it healing are slim. Surgery scheduled for July 24, after vacation because recovery is 6 weeks in a sling followed by several more of limited use. A bit frustrated because 3 years ago the pain was purported to be caused by Arthur. Finally got to a point where moment a certain way hurt like a hot poker.

Inspector here.Gotta run.

Morning all. Not a lot planned for today. Going to get a ultrasound on my ticker this afternoon, but that's about it for today. If it's nice out tomorrow might try and cut grass before the rain comes in.

Hope all have a good day

I haven't posted since last month.  It is acting like summer here lately - high 70's, low 80's and spotty thunder stormes.

I've put an order in for the Lionchief Berkshire Pere Marquette version.  It will show up someday.

The other train activity I've got going is the G gage layout in the KATY depot freight house.  This will be an elevated around the room layout.  I've got the brackets made (bent wood), and the track got here yesterday.  Going to start getting the thing mountes this weekend.  We've got a kid's program scheduled in another week, and I hope to have it running for that.

About all for now.

Good evening all,

Good memories of Chuck!  Got the move done today.  Very quiet where I am now.  Nice.  Blood pressure dropping already.  Nice weather for a walk today.  Had some rain on the way home.  I hope everyone has a good day.
