Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania "the railfan state". Mine as well call it New Jersey since most of the people hear moved from NJ in the last year. I live in one of fastest growing areas in the US. We moved from NJ a few years before the major growth.

Chicago - the railroad capital. So many trains and not enough time to see them.

You can take Oklahoma off the list of States of those who don' like trains. Like so many of others responding, the present residence is not the first. Started out in Omaha, moved across the river to Council Bluffs when I got married, then to Lincoln, on to Huron, down to Hutchinson, and finally to Moore. Lets see, thats Nebraska, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, and last of all-Oklahoma. Still root for the Huskers. And I might add, some of the best train watching can be found going across the Cornhusker State on good ole US 30. Paul

Hi Paul - are you enjoying all the grunts and groans going on with our hiring of a new Head Coach? Glad someone still roots for the Huskers - getting kinda lonely here on the forum!
