Tell Kevin to come back! He has friends here. I'm actually the guy who started the thread that ended up causing all this comotion and I don't hold anything against Kevin. It would be a shame if we lost one of our own over a matter such as this. I haven't corresponded with Kevin personally, but when he comes back (hopefully soon) he's more than welcome to e-mail me. It would be really nice to hear from him.

I would like to remind Kevin that by dropping off the forum, he is essentially letting those who upset him "win".

I would hope that instead of leaving Kevin, you would chose to stay and continue to express your viewpoints, thats what forums are for. Dont let those that upset or anger you chase you off this forum, that would be a bad precident, stay on the forum and defend your right to free speech.

Well, Hello "girlfriend".

If Kevin dosnt know what a jewel he has at home, then I am sure several of us will be more than happy to clue him in.

And if you would be so kind as to remind him that he is one of the "good guys"
and his passion for his homeland is evident and understood.

Please encourage him to come back on line, we need more young men like him, his viewpoint is needed to balance out the stuff from us old guys.

Besides, if he leaves, then the agitaters win by default.
He needs to stand up and be counted, not quitely go into the evening.

Hey "Girlfriend" I surely do hope you can convince Kevin to stay with us. I for one like to read his posts. I don't blame for getting mad because someone knocked his country , I would too. Just remind him that there more of us who value his opinion than those who disparage it.

Wow.. pretty amazing, you know.. If only Kevin could see this. I'm saying that because, no this isn ot him, I'm sure you've all heard about the Girlfriend (thats me). If it's any help to any of you, Kevin loved this site, sometimes i thought even more then me (joke). If he wasn't spending time on a car, at work, or spending with me, he was on the computer at trains.com.

I aswell used to look at the posts and laugh when i saw what people would write and what jokes were made, and they were mostly in good humor too.

It's ashame i don't know all of you but three people do stand out and i wanted to take the time just to tell them a few things..

Joe: I think Kevin prints and alphabetically aranges every single picture you send him, records the locomotive Number, and places every single picture in a big Scrap book. He lives for your pictures, and yells out of joy whenever he recieves them.

Jim: I think you almost killed kevin with your pitbull E-mail, and i got a picture with a caption under it on my pillow saying "WHY WE WILL NEVER BUY A DOG"

and Ed: wow, Ed, if only you knew how much Kevin looks up to you, i think he considers you one of the most brilliant people on earth. He always listens to yuor advise and always prints out what you write, I think kevin has spent more on ink for the printer then he has on me! He once considered your Brilliancy to an 8 billion watt bulb.

Last night, i convinced Kevin not to Delete his account, barely, but i don't know if he'll come back. I thought it was going to blow over, and by morning he's be back, but no it hasn't blown over yet. much to my surprise. Kevin can't keep a grudge for more then a few minutes. so i really don't know..

Just thought i'd let you all know about those few things.

I think "Opinion" and "Educated opinion based on somesort of relivence" are what is being debated here, which i can see there is a clear difference on, Look if one on this frum has a Grudge against something, It is best not said, because the exactt hing you have a grudge against, someone will Defend till they Die. The fact is, just don't spew an opinion out unless you know it's A) factual or B) based on some sort of common sense. I can see, or as many of you could, that i don't sppreciate someone badmouthing Canada, for No apparent reason, if you hav3 a FACTUAL OPINION of why Canada sucks, i'm all for it! it msut be right! why because it is based on fact.

Look, as many of you keep writing, like the person stated "What is wrong with these people?" there is NOTHING wrong with these people, Myself included. as a matter of fact, What is Right with these people? simple: out of anger, they defend what they stand by, and no one will knock them down, especually people who don't know anyhting about the opinion they just stated.

I defend my actions, and have no regrets for the way i handled the situation, but as i can see many of you do, so it is there one of twon things wrong, I could continually keep blamming the site for it's intollerence to a slight squabble

Or i can start balmming myself, because maybe it's Me thats not right for the sight.. therefore.. that being the last blow, And me handling issues that come up diferently then msot of you would, because the people above agree, therefore stating that they would "NEVER get angry at somehting that they truly stand/stood by"

Let me get my parting shot in order...

So seeing as I handle my issues in an innapropriate way.. geez imagine that.. it's not like i have a DEC in psycology or anyhting.. oh waiti do! . No one appreciated or understands the true way to problem solving, then This site isn't right for me.
