Just because it is on a web site does not make it true.

Just because you do not like it's implications does not make it false.

True,
Every coin has two sides.
But when faced with the implications of the worthlessness of one humans dignity, in that he was only allowed to drink from the toilet, which was part of the payment he received for clearing the restroom, instead of the outside facuet or sink, and the fact that the Bramaha felt so much superior to the untouchable that he wouldnt even speak to him, the house servant had to do the talking between them, then the implications of the ailens returning Elvis so he can cut a new version of Blue Sude Shoes becomes minute.

Sure, there are people who conspire to do horrid things, there probally was a shooter on the grassy knoll, Ralph Nader was right, Corvaires suck, and we should worry about the redwood forest in California.

Now, I dont know you, or your circumstances, or what your upbringing was, so I cant comment on anything from your point of view, other than the things you write about here.

But I can comment on my point of view, schewed as it may be.

And based on the things I have seen first hand, when given the choice of finding out who the third shooter was, and reading how GW Bush's horoscope predicts and influnces American policy, the whole while watching HBO, or a comerical for Caddilac's new SUV, with a climate controled front seat and a video player complete with a GPS system,
or
worring about how I can change the fact that another human being had to drink out of a toilet because a socieity and a goverment chose to turn a blind eye to what amounts to slavery,
my choice of worries and viewpoint becomes real simple.

I feel that the insulated luxury of Americas social distance from the rest of the world is very fragile, and even though American's, when called upon, have the ability to affect change world wide, we have lulled ourselves into feeling that things like that occur "over there" and are of no concern to us.

If it dosnt concern you, thats cool too.
All of us have the right to ignore things we find unpleasent, and the implications that somehow it could be us dipping our cups into a toilet.

You have the right to read the National Enquirer, and belive it if you want to!
You have the right to worry yourself sick over solar heating, and what the ufos really are, and why they took Elvis.

But I already know time is short, it is passing me by, and I intend to find someway to make sure, that if nothing else, my kids see enough of the real world to find a way to get water to that mans kids.

Stay Frosty,
Ed

HI JIM!

Greetings, salutations, and hi howdy hey [:D] to ALL, including Kevin, Da Mook, Alex, Mitchell, John, Ed, Bryan, Russell, and I know with my CRS that I have left many out so to everyone else another Hello.

The Hi Alex postings were my feeble attempt to play forum tag with Alex. He and I both could be in the same thread at the same time. There would not be anyone else showing at the bottom where the screen names show up. So I would post the Hi Alex trying to catch him. It never failed that as soon as I posted the Hi Alex he would have JUST left the thread. It became a private joke between us. And thats the rest of the story [:p]

Da Mook took her name off the bottom, so you never know where she is lurking. And the rest of you are out here when the Mook is in Z-land - only Joe and I get up this early!

But brings up a question - wouldn't you just know that!

The time that is posted on the forum - is it Jim's time in the east, Ed's time in the great MIDWEST or Marty's time in California? I know the time I post corresponds to the time on my believe it or not - train clock! But what does it show in Jim and Marty's post - their time?

Mookie has to hurry back trackside; she is digging for questions!

Joe has a right-hand man named Matt the Mauler - beware! But it may be ok - Matt's momma will bring Joe in! [8D]

Did the pics I emailed you make it ok? Funny thing some made it to some people and some people didn't get anything. Ed even tried to forward them to Mooky but didn't have any luck either.

This time I am just happy to hear than some pics made it. There were several people I tried to email pics to that didn't get them. They were all Hotmail users. I am still learning as you well know. But I now know to resize the pics first. This will help in uploading and downloading. Practice makes perfect so I am going to have to practice alot more.
