Well there it is, my new website. I'm just starting over so it'll take some time to replace everything I once had before. And I've got my train video set and working this time.

REGARDING PICS POSTED HERE: the Terms Of Service can be tricky sometime. They're very long complicated too. The main violation/concern Larry is describing is what's called hotlinking and file storage. You can't get a website to simply store pictures and files to be called up on another website. If you provide a link to click to view a picture or video or audio file that's on another host's server that's what these sites don't like. However you could get around this by making a small display on a personal homepage and use your pictures for posting here, too. I would think that if you used your pics on your website they wouldn't mind if you post a few on forums and places like that, I think.

But of course, if they're server goes down or offline or if the account is inactive for a long time and is deleted your pics posted here will no longer show up.

Also, I understand, people have a hard time posting pics here that are stored at geocities.com. Maybe they don't want people to use pics this way and have disabled it some how, I don't know, that's my best guess.

If you want to show your pictures in public AND be able to show them here, a section of the Museum's Photo page, called the EXCHANGE http://www.brrm.net/photos/exchange.htm. as long as I don't get 50 emails a day or something, it is set up so that railfans can Email me the picture, it is put on the museum's server, and goes on the site with thier name, email, and a description.

Well sseing as everyone is posting their sites, here is mine. UK stuff but with some unusual accounts and a slightly different look at railways. Site is currently going through an update but still enough there to give a taste.

If you pay for it, it isn't free. My experience is you get exactly what you pay for. I pay for mine at $85 a year and have never been sorry.
