It is April 1, did I miss something? They just changed it to BNSF coinciding with the new paint scheme, didn't they?

Ya gotta love marketers and consultants. It was their ilk that convinced the
Great Northern Railway to abandon their all-time classic color scheme
in favor of a blue/gray/white mess. Only shows the idiocy hasn't left yet.

In a word-yes. You, I, and BNSF all seem to be confused on this. Weird huh?[xx(]

BNSF/Burlington Northern Santa Fe name change questions.

On the Trains newswire, it talks briefly about about BNSF changing their name *back* to Burlington Norther Santa Fe Railroad. What's up with that? Just because some marketing group thought it would sound more "marketable"? Who thinks this stuff up? I would think they have just flushed a lot of money down the drain! Does anybody know where to find the sneak preview pictures mentioned, of the so-called "Cascade green-inspired", new *proposed* paint scheme?[:0] What would this be called? Something like Heritage 14?Wink My guess is that the "swoosh" will be gone, among other thins. Anybody else have info on this?
